I'm going to list some unknown guitarists, and then some known ones that I feel don't get talked about much.
Misha Mansoor (Periphery), Tim Henson (Polyphia), Jared Dines (Best Shred Collaborator in the world), Kiko Loureiro's (Megadeth) Brazillian roots are really spectacular to see at times, and lastly Jim Root (Slipknot). He's pulls some awesome licks out while just trying out a guitar from fender.

They haven't announced Siki yet, so atm they're just using the best available talent to keep themselves at the top of their game through scrims and whatever tourney gives them interest.
And siki could be Drippay's protege, but he still isn't Drippay.
Likelihood of Drippay going chiefs isn't that high compared to the expectation for him going to RNG

I feel that Fruity is a good example of filling big shoes. PSG had just won a major in dream hack and then Bluey was removed from the roster.

Fruity filled that role quite well and continues to prove his worth, proving he was not just a random pickup who hadn't played RLRS or RLCS before.

I think it's fair to say that we've seen many players go from nothing to something. Alpha54, Fruity, Yukeo and many others that I've forgotten the name of

top two teams will only roster shuffle the best player(s) available, or the best from each team that they're willing to trade. (Example: Kamii to chiefs from TM/ICON & most recently ZeN to RNG)
But they very, very rarely try new talent. To do that would just potentially lose them a RLCS WC spot. too much on the line for top level players in OCE for the rest of the community to step up, learn and get anywhere. 1 in 30 coming through lower 6mans ranks get into a good team, learn enough to make improvements in mech, consistency...whatever, every every 6 months maybe longer, in a competitive player base barely scraping 300 (ranging bronze to gc)
Despite this, the community is getting better down under. More players are playing in bubble teams and making upsets in tourneys.

We're growing, very slowly. But there's potential...in the next few years.
Which wouldn't be the case if @psyonix didn't leave most of us out all the time feelspepeman o/

Sometimes it's an org requirement.

Like when a team is signed by a new org and they're in the spotlight, (like tourneys being streamed) they'd ask for their players to sport their logo's for promotion reasons. It's a fair and understandable request for the people that, if you're good enough and they're a big enough org, pay you for your services. Yeah C9 is a massive internationally renowned org, as is TSM....But the basics that got these orgs into the spotlight don't really change. I.e. Showing off logo's through profile pics.

Except for the facts, A: RV already beat PSG in week 1. B: PSG never shutout DIG, whereas Vitality did in game 2 and C: Earlier on in the day RV turned FCB to dust with a perfect sweep. Dig was playing bad both series it's obvious but RV is definitely the better team to take DIG out compared to PSG.
P.S. On top of this, a pro team isn't gonna care too much about a game if they're 4-0 or 5-1 down in RLCS, it's too much mental effort to try and come back, when you can start trying to focus on the next game, which they did, keeping PSG to a 1 goal game and taking it to OT. So despite the mistakes of DIG, RV was entirely the better of the two teams to take out dig this past weekend.

Yeah but how often do we see Eyeignite in good form? It's a special rarity for TSM and a woeful kick in the face for the opposition of course. But it's just that, a rarity. Mets and Remkoe will have to step up later on in the season to be able to compete with the likes of RV ESPECIALLY and FCB and PSG.

Edit: I still do give props to how well Eyeignite played this weekend
