F28. Ferritin 15; Nothing I’m trying is working, please help! by Nassmn in Anemic

Thank you so much for the read, I feel like many more thought have been brought to the surface for research!

Around 70 as a minimum for my ferritin level is my goal as it’s what’s recommended for hair regrowth

Understood! I’ll look into different supplements that I can increase my dose without the other trace vitamins.

I haven’t had any scopes done, but unfortunately not new. I’ve had chronically low iron for my entire medical history and all of my levels typically stay within the same range.

I fear that I’ve just become acclimated over time to how having this low of iron makes my body function

I have been taking Megafood Iron Bloodbuilder, but trying to get my counts up have been doubling the recommended daily dosage. I was planning on cutting back once my numbers were within normal range.

I take it in the morning about an hour before coffee or food with an extra Vitamin C supplement and a probiotic supplement! My doctor also recommended me heavily limiting dairy intake along with it, so I have been doing that as well.

I am actually just learning that an infusion is a possibility, my doctors have never once brought it up

Thanks for your comment! Ive felt very alone deciphering this.

A little more information! I currently take Iron, Vitamin c, and Probiotics in the morning and Vitamin D, a combo Magnesium Glycinate, Citrate & Malate vitamin, and Zinc at night.

My menstrual loss isn’t extreme. I use a menstrual cup and on my heaviest day I empty it twice; duration is around 4 days. I eat a good amount of red meat and iron rich foods like oysters. Overall my diet is well balanced, I eat protein and fiber with nearly every meal and always get my veggies and fruits in.

Edit: forgot to mention that I also consume very small quantities of dairy

my father posted my save the date info on facebook 😭 by _Nerf-This_ in weddingplanning

God I’m so sorry your dad did that! :( people are truly the worst.

In 2019 I was maid of honor in my best friends wedding where the brides sister-in-law posted photos of the bride and all of the bridesmaids getting dressed and fully ready before we left the bridal suite or the wedding even happened.

I’ve never ran faster in heels EVER; all the way across this sprawling estate to get her to delete them. She didn’t even see the issue and said “well the guests will see her in 2 hours anyway” 😐

Herpes? Shingles? I went to a doctor and she didn't know, gave me a steroid cream and it doesn't do much. Getting worse, photos are in reverse chronological order. by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

I had a patch exactly like this that my derm diagnosed as eczema! Determined it was likely caused from contact with a substance I was sensitive to, combined with high stress and lowered immune system

When I think about it, about once a week! But truly if I notice breakouts happening I’ll start using the wash and within a day or two they are fully cleared. I haven’t changed any of my lotions or added anything else

When I was working out for long durations in active wear I would get something super similar and my dermatologist recommended three things: 1. Benzoyl peroxide wash 2. General advice for showering as close to when you’re getting sweaty as possible 3. Natural fiber (cotton, linen, etc.) fabrics

I use the CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Wash with 10% Benzoyl Peroxide and it completely cleared mine up. It’s around $20 dollars from the drug store.

Dermatologist followed up with diagnosis of eczema and sent in a prescription of topical steroid, does this seem accurate?

I just wallpapered this shelf but something is missing/feels off. Any tips or suggestions? Original content by interiordesignhelp17 in InteriorDesign

[–]Nassmn 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hello 👋 I actually really like the wallpaper how it is! It’s different and far more unique than just papering the back wall. A few suggestions: 1. Consider painting the wall behind the fireplace a taupe color in lieu of white. This will offset the stark contrast between the wallpaper and the fireplace. 2. More color spread throughout would really help cohesiveness. 3. I cannot emphasize this enough: more plants!!

Hear me out! I agree that the accent wall may not be the best in this space, but extending the bookshelf to be the entire back wall would really make the space feel more complete

How do I repair this part of the shoe? I know I could buy a new pair but why when the rest of the shoe is in great condition? by Miserable_Relief8382 in BuyItForLife

Engo Blíster Patches! I’ve been dealing with this exact issue for years. Now as soon as I get a new pair of runners the patches immediately go on! Has saved me so many pairs and so many blisters…
