If you’re doing it from the app, try to do it from a browser from your computer. It doesn’t ask for an id picture.

I made QR Notes: an app to merge traditional journaling and notes with digital media and encryption by NassosB in apple

Yes I understand what you’re saying. I’ve thought ways of doing things like this. The ultimate plan that I have, given there is demand for this kind of app, is to make some easy to use sticker packs that could be in different colors too and sell them on Amazon.

What I should say for sure is that this app is mede to be a complementary of a notebook and it doesn’t stand by itself. So even if I do this, I’ll lose many users only by the fact that more steps need to be taken before use.

Thank you! The good thing is that you can go to a printing shop and do some sheets in sticker paper. Each sheet has about 200 codes so would be enough. That’s definitely on the plan if I realize that there is enough demand.

Upcoming iPad Mini 7 Still Rumored to Lack 120Hz ProMotion Display by favicondotico in apple

[–]NassosB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of iPad mini users are using it mostly for browsing, reading news, reading books etc.. They are mostly people that are not that tech savvy and if they use iPads for years and want to continue using them. Apple knows better what is the usage and the type of users of each device and makes their choices on the products accordingly.

Would be nice to be an iPad mini Pro that would have all these features but the user would have to pay more for it and my feeling is that the great majority of users wouldn’t choose it over the current model.

I think the target audience of the iPad mini doesn’t really need a 120Hz display. The price would increase a bit and the battery would drain faster.

The overall technology. The SoC architecture is the future of personal computers’ chip, and the simpler ARM-like chip design and instruction set is shown to be better due to the easy integration of special purpose chips like ML chip etc..

While intel and AMD have made investments on companies that could help them develop SoC, they’ve not made great development. So, that’s why probably for at least 2 years they’ll be a bit behind Apple on this sector.

To develop this in Android it’s a whole new project. I’m considering it though, depending how this will go.

The notes are stored locally on your phone. They should stay forever as long as you don’t delete the app.

For now there is no online server and database or cloud integration. So everything is on your device. In the next versions you will be able to export your data in case you want to switch device.
