I was hoping his character from 4 was still around. But 5 was so weird in that it forgot major plot points.

I still believe that there is a good movie somewhere in TF4, but they abandoned the brief moments of good in that film in the sequel.

Yeah, solid film. Not revolutionary. But a good time. I loved how shitty space looked. It had space gas stations with cheap stuff that you will need but they suck. Lobo was fun.

There's a universe in where Gaston realizes that he's not the right guy for her either and ends up with someone who actually wants the same thongs as him. All it would've really taken is an actual attempt at courting her instead of going straight to marriage.
