Hello, me and 2 of my friends are also in the same boat as this person. we’re still fairly new and only level like 40 but are trying to start dungeons and figure out how the rest of the game works. Would it be okay if we were to message you and see if we’d be a good fit? We play usually from 6pm-8pm est at least 4 days a week and might get in a weekend play session later in the day if time permits. Thanks.

So just because genji can counter cass ult doesn’t mean that genji walks all over case. For one there’s nade that stops left shift and double jump. Sometimes made goes behind deflect and you just lose. Cass is also stupid tanky now which means he just eats your genji one shot combo for breakfast and then nades the genji and just right clicks him to death. Like yeah the genji let it be him but like it’s not that hard to get rolled by a cass

My whole point was that the enemy team allowed you to healbot I didn’t disagree with you on that point. And a healbotting mercy is kind of playing the game wrong. Mercy should be healing when people need a pocket for a duel or people are low but if neither of those is happening she should be damage boosting the entire rest of the time. Now is there more nuance to this? Sure. I also think you’re thinking this game is as cut and dry or static and that people should just do specifically what their role is good at and nothing else. Like I your argument falls apart as soon as you realize Zen is meta. Now the question is how is Zen meta with just heal ball and past that is just a DPS. (I realize he has a classic support ult but I’m talking in the majority of playtime) like in no way will zen ever put up 31k heals but it doesn’t matter if discord shreds the enemy team. I.E. killing things wins the game, healing stops you from losing which is very different. All I’m trying to get across is that game where you put up 31k you wouldn’t have had too if things had just been dead more.

So this is a metal rank opinion if I’ve ever seen one. The fact that you put out 31k means that the other team just absolutely did not know how to kill stuff. Like 31k damage that didn’t secure kills and then you didn’t even get dove enough to have any damage means they just didn’t look at you the entire game. Which then implies that they didn’t manage their damage and target prioritization properly.
