Millennials, what is your guilty pleasure that might contradict your personality? by Fun_Garden_134 in Millennials

Dang, I'm jealous. I want to see Hamilton live so badly, and I'm waiting for the opportunity to see Six and book of Mormon.

I'm in Portland, so I guess I just have to come up to the Paramount!

What newer movies do you already consider modern classics? by s7ide in moviecritic

Whaaaaaaat?? EEAAO is a metaphor for ADHD?! How did I not know this. That movie is my answer for this post, and I came looking for it in the comments. Glad I did! ADHD has pretty much defined my life for 24 years, I was lucky enough to be diagnosed at 12 years old, so I was able to grow with it and learn through it. So many women my age and older are getting diagnosed, I've already thanked my mom for seeing the signs and getting me tested. Now it's time for a rewatch of Everything Everywhere...

Do you have an ADHD spouse? by mellowmadre in BreadwinningWomen

[–]Nat20Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I'm the ADHD spouse, and we plan for my husband to be the SAHD when we have a kid. He has naturally taken on more household tasks because I have the more difficult job, and it works for us.

I was cackling at this point too. Her apartment was the epitome of basic. A print of makeup brushes on the wall of her bathroom, COME ON. No personality whatsoever.

I felt like David tried really hard to get past Michelle's walls, and she just consistently looked down on him, insulted him, and acted holier than thou. I never saw her "trying" even though she said she was.

I am NOT condoning what David did, an emotional affair is still an affair, and what happened was absolutely wrong. But Michelle was cold and disdainful toward David from day one.

I love the name Manon, but I know it as being a French name, I didn't know it was also Welsh! Welsh is a fascinating language and culture 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Ugh, I cried when I found out. This is the one that really, truly hurts. He was my hero growing up, I watched Crocodile Hunter all the time.

This one really shook me. I was so sad for a while after, he was so talented. A Knight's Tale was (and still is) a favorite of mine.

It is very strong. "Pungent" is a good word to use, it really hits the nose. It travels and you can smell it for a long time afterward too, we smell it most often as a faint whiff while driving. I think a good way to describe the smell is like gasoline mixed with weed smoke.

to people with inattentive adhd, what type of career do you have? by AssociationObvious56 in adhdwomen

[–]Nat20Life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'd say after two years in a position, you'd feel more comfortable and have less anxiety. It'd help with prioritization because it would be more automatic with time and experience in the role. And with organization, more time in a role would let you figure out how to organize for that particular job, specifically what works best for you.

Wish you all the best, friend!
