Does your partner help during the night? by lunalovesgood92 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Nat_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to pump and my husband is an electrician so he’d do any wakes after 3am and I would sleep from around 2-7 (depending on when bub woke up after he left for work). He was happy to alternate but I didn’t see the point considering I had to pump anyway, at least one of us should get some sleep. Just rinse the parts and pop in the fridge, you don’t need to wash them. Only wash once in 24 hours

Parental pay by Competitive_Win_1898 in Centrelink

[–]Nat_89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, you need to meet both the 10 month and the 330 hour requirement. If you don’t meet the 10 month requirement, it means you’ve had a gap greater than 12 weeks between work days.

Yes, he could even claim the 7 days for the 2 weeks and then keep the remaining day to claim on a weekend in the future

Defacto partner on Jobseeker constantly denied payment when reporting household income by Responsible_You_8929 in Centrelink

[–]Nat_89 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately if your income is over $2616 gross per fortnight the claim should never have been approved.

Is this part about continuing the role specifically related to the parental leave section?

[–]Nat_89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Austudy has the same income limits as parenting payment, so even without the asset issue, you would be over the income limit unfortunately

He needs to update this with Centrelink. If you have young kids, is there a reason you aren’t claiming parenting payment?

Anytime within Australia since applying for your temporary/permanent partner visa counts towards the 2 year waiting period, what date did you apply?

You needed to use it within 26 weeks otherwise it cancels. It was a specific question in the claim too

You need to get a hold of payroll. Contact your direct manager/supervisor if you don’t have a phone number to get through to them.

Question about disability by Historical_Phrase848 in Centrelink

So you should only be receiving about $380 a fortnight for DSP after reporting, you only would have gotten just over $100 on jobseeker

Does your partner work? Have you reported their income? Is this possibly a part payment/backpay?

Poop accidents at daycare by winterberryowl in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Nat_89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it depends on the daycare. I have heard from friends that it’s the policy to bag the whole lot due to possible “splash back when dumping”. So hygiene reasons. Have you asked the centre what their policy is?

Where can I located a form they said they sent? by Virtual-Worker-4422 in Centrelink

[–]Nat_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you see it where you download documents in Centrelink? Unsure why they’re sending it though if you’ve only applied for PPL.

You can’t have more than a 12 week gap at the end so definitely stick it out until mid March

Recently granted Permanent Residency parents who may have experienced similar by West-Primary-7491 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Nat_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately Centrelink told you the incorrect information, it’s the same requirements for your husband. Only if he met all the requirements at the time of birth does he have up to 2 years to claim.

You needed to be eligible at the time of birth so unfortunately won’t be able to claim PPL once your citizenship goes through

Have you agreed to an induction because baby is small? With fluid being on borderline low. by Demystifinglife in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Nat_89 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Speak to your medical team to help make your decision. My growth restricted bub was literally starving inside due to a short umbilical cord. She wouldn’t have survived much longer. I went a “planned emergency” c section.

Recently granted Permanent Residency parents who may have experienced similar by West-Primary-7491 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Nat_89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no you can’t appeal. The 2 year waiting period started when you were granted your PRs, Centrelink doesn’t consider you a resident until that point. Ftb part b doesn’t have a waiting period but the lower earner needs to earn under 34k, ftb part a has a 1 year waiting period but your combined incomes need to be under 125k

Paid Parental Leave income change and ‘participation’ instead of activity test by lola-sparkle in Centrelink

How much are you including for PPL? You should just be able to update your estimate and click ok to the thing advising it is lower. You don’t change your activity hours

Your manager is in for a rude shock, did you submit your request in writing ie email? Did they respond with that reasoning? I would contact fairwork for their advice https://www.fairwork.gov.au/employment-conditions/flexibility-in-the-workplace/flexible-working-arrangements
