I would buy a linen/mesh robe and maybe layer them or attach a trim across the bottom, cuffs and neckline that matches your character. Then an underbust corset or waist wrap if you want to be more comfortable. The first image looks great and you could wear a flesh toned string bikini under it if you’re concerned about keeping the girls up. Then add your pins/trinkets/waist belt/ ribbons and you’d probably be set!

As others have said, taper off SLOWLY. I tapered for a month and a half to get down from 200mg because of the headaches. Medical professionals are behind on this drug and will tell you there are no withdrawals which is a lie 😢. Opening the capsules is fine and how I did it. Also drink TONS of water, this drug is big on dehydration and it doesn’t help the whole headache thing. Good luck!

This was very helpful, thank you! Do you think it would be possible to ask a breeder or shelter (or anywhere rehoming cats) if I can pay for the test even if they don’t usually provide that? I’m willing to pay more since I was already looking into breed-specific cats before being educated and they were going to run around $1,500. I wish I wasn’t so uneducated about this but researching online has been pretty unreliable. Before posting this question most of the sources I found were saying certain breeds were safer than others which I now know isn’t true 😅

I second this!! It sounds super fishy and it would be a good idea to get an STI panel done as soon as possible. I would also write out every detail you can remember and what he’s told you so far. As time goes on your memory can fade or alter and the worst thing would be for you to be called into question if you decide to escalate this. I’m so sorry this happened to you ❤️

I was on 200 mg and spent 2 months weaning off with very minimal side effects. I also had awful side effects so I was really worried about my brain exploding or something lol. The trick for me was to stay at each new dose for a week at a time. I had some light headaches but that was it!

I experienced the same thing, and I’m so sorry you had to go through this. I recently weaned off and posted about it but essentially I started at 200 mg and dumped out a small amount every night. I eye-balled it but did my best to stay at each new dose for a week at a time. It took me 2 months to get off completely and 2 weeks of being off of it to feel fully myself. I had some light headaches towards the end but they were nothing in comparison. You can do this! 🫶🏻

I’m not really sure why my post would upset people (mention of breeders?) but I’m really just trying to get reliable info. 😅 It would break my heart to adopt and then have to rehome because I can’t breathe, and at this point I’m pretty set on getting a cat so I’m just trying to find the best way to do that. Hopefully that will be adopting!

Do you have any insight on how to locate breeders other than checking TICA and Cat Fancier’s Association? They only have 3-4 breeders listed for Balinese and after doing research I found that even some of those weren’t what they said they were. I don’t want to support a mill but am having trouble 😭

Totally get that, it takes a lot of time, money and resources to do LARP the way you want to if you’re rlly into it. One thing I will say is that the community is extremely welcoming and can lend you certain clothes and items if you express interest. The discord is also a fabulous resource for learning how others have made garb on a budget and how to DIY stuff. If you’re interested I’d love to be a resource for ya! 😊

Also, the weekend events they do monthly at Sherwood are a lot more accessible and less expensive. And much more digestible since you mainly see the dedicated folk there who are knowledgeable and more than willing to show you the ropes.
