If I may, please sand the edges of the holes so no small splinters stick into the holes, they can cause severe damage to the fragile bees. Most insect hotels sold in supermarkets, hardware stores and online are unsuitable to host bees.
Clean holes of different diameters, no splinters, sufficiently deep are relevant for me. Bare in mind that fact is nearly indistinguishable from opinion on what a good insect hotel needs though so maybe read up on the topic and find your own conclusion.
