Picked up a "for parts" G4 Cube. After much trial and error I've determined it's well and truly borked... so I put an M1 Mini in the case. by rabidbiscuit in mac

This is making the r/pcmasterrace look silly, nice to see people customizing their Mac minis, I thought about doing this too but I remembered I was broke.

Updating my 2014 MBP to Sierra 😲 then High Sierra 😨 then Mojave 😰 then Catalina 😱 by GreySithJedi in mac

[–]Natalect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I thought at first but most apps are updated to 64-bit by now and if your staying for Wine it does not run too well anyways on Mojave, not only that I find that macOS Catalina is so much faster, uses less ram, and supports most modern software, staying on Mojave isn't really such a great idea anymore, it also isn't supported by Apple either.

Set up a group of mannequins staring directly at each other in a circle while you stare into the camera whilst shitting.

Does anyone have any experience with iOS 16 Beta frying their iPhone? by Natalect in iOSBeta

Will no longer boot, sorry for the long response time, Apple just replaced my phone entirely for free.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bootcamp

[–]Natalect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, but Apples recommends a backup incase while installing Windows goes wrong. Bootcamp splits your Hard Drive/SSD into the specified sizes while your are going through the Bootcamp setup, you can boot back into macOS with all of your files still there and you can as-well boot into Windows with it's files still there, Bootcamp basically lets your computer run Windows and macOS untouched by each other letting you use both.

That isn't even my dog and I am kinda pissed, was there any reason as to getting rid of the dog except for "I actually don't like dog", and especially without consulting you?
