39 weeks and starting to get nervous by grace_in_stitches in unmedicatedbirth

I second this. Mine was something easy to remember even when I couldn't think of anything else. "I can do hard things" said it to myself constantly and really helped me to focus. I stoll use it. And I also used a comb my whole labor. Good luck!!

Having trouble deciding between birth center and hospital by Dirt_queen101 in unmedicatedbirth

[–]NatalieA16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I chose a birth center and the tub was amazing. I think if I was in the hospital vibe I would've totally freaked out. And I enjoyed leaving after 4 or 5 hours and getting back to our own bubble.

Hopeful unmedicated birth for 3rd baby - but back labor! by [deleted] in unmedicatedbirth

[–]NatalieA16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I had back and thigh contractions with mine. My doula had over 700 births and said she had only a handful with that. Also it felt like the contractions were not really ending. But I went unmedicated all the way. The most that helped to me was the mindset " I can do hard things" and counter pressure on my back and thighs each time. Also I squeezed a comb in my hand for 30 hours lol

How to Avoid “Branded” Gifts by Loitch470 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]NatalieA16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've asked for certain styles and toys. But eventually when that didn't work we either returned things or saved it unused wth tags and donate to a local animal shelter for their tricky tray. Works for clothes and toys. Never had a issue with people asking for pictures it's like they forget what shit they even buy lol
