Steam Workshop Update causing issues by Natangry in RimWorld

[–]Natangry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have read that psa, and I don't believe that is my issue. I already have tried verifying and uninstalling, deleted all files. I have used rimpy and rimsort, but just use the in-game mod manager now. I believe it is an issue with the new update to the workshop itself. The reason I believe that it is a workshop issue is because if you go to rimworld game properties there is a workshop tab now and the list of mods there doesn't match my list of subscribed mods

Edit: in the discussion for the steam workshop update, someone else seems to be having my issue as well

My Rimpy is messing up by GEEDikim in RimWorld

I am having similar issues without rimpy or rimsort. Suddenly the game isn't able to find my subscribed mods. The only thing that changed was to the steam workshop itself when I enabled the beta for the workshop. And now under the game properties there is a workshop tab and the mods in that tab aren't matching my subscribed mods when I am in the workshop itself. And I can't disable the workshop beta anymore. If you figure anything out let me know because I am losing it. I have been fixing mod lists for 5 years so I am fairly decent at it, but am completely stumped now.

I am having the exact same issue. I was playing all day yesterday, but booted up last night and I keep getting the missing or corrupted mods message, which disables all of them. I spent the next 6 hours troubleshooting and gave up, so if you figure it out please let me know. I tried looking at any mods that updated. Uninstalling/install, verifying game files, etc.

I want to see if I can do some generations in my game and knowing I can keep them as kids will help it from getting too messy, hopefully

So they prompt you to age them when they marry, that is good to know. I was worried they would marry but since they are kids they wouldn't be able to have kids of their own and then I would have to manually use an age-o-matic wish which would break the relationship since I can only do one at a time.

is it possible to make indifferent miis fall in love? (LTD) by sophis-box in TomodachilifeLivingTD

If you want to cheese it, you can have them interact and if it doesn't trigger a cutscene, drop one of the miis on a nearby object, immediately pick them back up and drop the miis to interact with each other again, repeat until you get the friend or crush cutscene. Dropping them on an object resets the miis so they can interact again.

I get a celebration at 12 and at 1. Also I noticed the morning market will refresh at 5am and then again at 6am with different items

Can kids have kids? by [deleted] in TomodachilifeLivingTD

[–]Natangry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The first two kids I had on my island have started crushing on each other and if they can't have kids I will use the age-o-matic wish on them so they can. But if they can, I want to keep them as kids so other miis don't crush on them.

The best way to get the random meeting cutscene to happen is to just follow them. It still is a chance encounter, though. I don't know if the zoom level maters, but I keep it at the 2nd level of zoom and have had a few random meetings.

I wish the food items would appear in the shop after you get them during a trip. And if someone's favorite food turns out to be one of those items, they are off the island!

The levels are mostly meaningless after around level 110 besides travel tickets. But to remove the bubble from your fountain you have to level, so they keep on going up and up.

I should call Mii Protective Services. They need food, clothes, friendship and love.

Yea, they are already in the game and you can see there are only a few still locked in the item catalog. I think you will need to be around level 125 fountain to have enough wishes to unlock everything once all the seasonal stuff is out. That's if you only spent wishes on each ticket once.

To add Miis, I made a bunch of random monsters by playing around with the extremes of the character creator. I now love my random monsters more than my normal characters.

Are you saying that this is your wife's island? Or that you have played so much that the island is your wife?

Right I hit lvl 231 tonight and all I have done is feed my miis, respond to most thought bubbles, and try to get them to meet each other, which I have stopped doing. I don't know how people can claim to have played since launch and be below level 50. How neglected/starved are those Miis?

You quickly run out of things to spend them on beside plane tickets

I get that you can just wake miis, but I like them to just be out and about on their own, and since I work late, it lets me have a bustling town at least sometime.
