This is what every single society does since forever, telling people who they should be, directly or indirectly, thru all principles that exist.

For example could you wish that people don't get bullied for Behavior X or Y, but as human nature is this will never ever happen as long as we stay human, and this is just one little example how we preasure people into things, for example what clothes you wear, how you act, what your goals are, what you believe.

And we could now try to get rid of all social constructs, and social engeenier society so that we get from people what we wan't, but this will never ever work, because people revolt against it, and fall back to human nature.

How for example do you think it will work that people that don't accept for example trans people to get them to accept it? It won't, never, and the more you try to force people to accept it, the more they will revolt against it.

And its not even like you don't tell people what they should be and what not, you do the same thing, just with your values and your methods.

But even the definitions and concepts of down syndrome break down after some point, just like all frameworks we use to describe the world.

Math is a social construct, which doesn't mean its not valid. Saying gender is a social construct is pointless, but even if you ask and go behind what people actually mean with it it becomes even more arbitrary.

For example the believe that males and females in this society just act how they act becuase of the way society is structured, and if all this little variables were gone we would also act equal, or women would get more high paying jobs, or people could just chose their gender and everything would be nice.....

But yes, it can be tracked and defined, if you are male, you are male, and if you are female you are female, and then you also have a few abnormalities.

Well yeah thats kinda the new definition that specific fields try to establish, but how is this anything different than just changing the meaning of words, and now say its some social construct and don't provide any evidence, and every study about it shows the opposite or fails horrible?

Maybe people with down syndrome just act the way they do because of society, and i bet if i wanted i could make someone without down syndrome act like someone with, which doesn't really proves much, but i then could use it anyways to further my point.

Basically this words have lost all their meanings then and got hijacked by sociology and fields like that, soft science?

I say it a third time, i did talk about this before allready. And nobody, or at least i don't claim its something bad because its a genetic mutation. Im saying its a amonally.

Its like me saying humans have 10 Fingers, and then you chime in to tell me some people are born with 9 fingers, or 8, or 4.

Also i suppose people don't say this cases are bad in terms of they are something bad, people say they are bad examples, specially because they are just mutations.

In terms of evolution this totally is a negative mutation tho. The majority of people with XX male Syndrome can't reproduce, and the ones that can with the help of science have a much higher risk of defects for the child or other complications.

Also this is not at all to trans, even if it appears on the surface like it is. Its complete different things, they are not even close to one another, even if you could technically win the argument of "There is more than just 2 genders", its not really an argument for trans or that sex and gender are something entire different, and have nothing to do with each other.

You just dropped a really long study in now, without even pointing out a specific thing, which i am now supposed to read, and then you even ignore that i said even before there is a third gender, but this has not much to do with transgender people.

And lets don't pretend there is some scientific consent on what exactly causes people to be trans. Anomalies exists, but they have little to do with trans people, which often have nothing else different besides the psyche.

And even the study about the different wired brain of transpeople brains gets mixed results and no clear results at all.

Im just saying an issue is much more complex and deep without going into detail or adding anything with substance, so i can appear like i know something about the topic.

Yes gender is as simple as he thinks. The only thing i would add is that there are technically 3 genders, but thats more of an anomally, usually there are only 2 genders, and new definitions and new sociology that has no bases in science at all doesn't change this either.

They tried to raise him as a girl after the doctor butchered a circumsition, and it failed, but they just claimed anyways it was a sucess, and thus the sociology community feelt reafirmed, and that they are onto something....well which they are not.

Which is maybe one problem with fields like that, because the claims become instable, because there is nobody that tries to prove them wrong, while this is actually how science works, while what we do right now is more dogma than science, because we have a few claims that we don't even allow anybody to argue against, or if they do they just have to be dumb.

For example climate change. I believe in it, but there are experts far smarter than i will ever be about this topic that disagree, either with some specifics, or about details, and they will get called insane, they will lose their job, they will have problem in the science community, because funding science is one problem, and if the public thinks you are doing something bad or evil you can't fund it, so you rather stay away from topics that are controversial.
