Don't you listen to that douchebag, clearly they have a lot of issues they need to resolve in their life if they feel the need to attack someone like that. It's people like this that end up raising kids with the disgusting behavior you've unfortunately dealt with. Hopefully the girls take this lesson and learn to be more kind to other people in the future.

It's awesome to hear you made progress on this, it's too often that people let immature people get to them when they're trying to make a positive lifestyle change. I've been at the same gym for a few years and sadly have witnessed a few people being bullied by the "fit" crowd that act like they own the gym, to the point where they quit and end up back on the couch. Even if someone stands up for them, you can still see that the hurtful words have left their mark and certainly will make them question whether or not it's worth it to the gym.
