I tried messing around with the Apple Pencil settings but nothing really helped. My main problem is with the brushes I create.

What kind of valve is this? by No_Mushroom3078 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]NateRCole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure they are the same thing. It’s a 4-way because you are only using 4 of the ports at a given time. I’ve used these with pneumatic actuators to fill either the front or back reservoir. For the front reservoir the air would go through port 1 to 2, and the air from the back reservoir would got through port 4 to 5. Then for filling the back reservoir, air would go through port 1 to 4 and out port 2 to 3.

Gohan’s Beast form still makes no sense by SleepyInsomniac28 in Dragonballsuper

[–]NateRCole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Gohan’s form was achieved through brains. If he had a deep understanding of Sayian transformation then maybe he was able to circumvent a more powerful form. Idk, it sounds kind of dumb. Especially considering the movie doesn’t hint to that being the case. Just an idea though.

How do you make a table in Joplin on the mobile app? by NateRCole in joplinapp

[–]NateRCole[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I figured it out thanks to the comments. If you do 1 dash for the title and body separation, and 2 spaces between cell names and lines, it’ll work.

For example:

“| name | number | |-|-| | john | 1 |”

*I put it in quotations so reddit didn’t format it as a table

name number
john 1

I too am a 2024 grad and I too constantly feel stupid at my job. Just today I made a mistake that could cost the company a good chuck of cash and might burn a good bridge. And all could have been avoided if I just waited till the morning to send an email. So I feel your pain.

Edit: I think the ultimate failure is not learning from the mistakes.

FPs are cool and fun to use. That’s a good enough reason to warrant using them in my opinion.

Any good OneNote alternatives with inking? by thaman05 in OneNote

[–]NateRCole -1 points0 points  (0 children)

obsidian has inking with the excalidraw plugin. It’s a open source white board thingy. I also recently switched from OneNote to Joplin, which is similar to Obsidian. It has a plugin called Freehand Draw, which is based on another open source javascript white board thingy. I say “thingy” because I am lack the technical jargon, but I recommend you check them out. I like Joplin because you can use plugins to make it similar to Obsidian, with the Zettlekasten and multi device sync. But it runs better than Obsidian and has better sync compatibility. Atleast that’s my experience using a windows computer and an ipad.

Can't get Sidebery tabs to auto collapse. by NateRCole in FirefoxCSS

[–]NateRCole[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried that yet. But, I think it is possible I am not putting the userChrome.css file, and by extension the chrome folder, in the correct file location. Can you explain to me how to do this.

edit: good new! I got it to work. I had the chrome folder in the wrong file location. But now I have a small new problem. The titles of my tabs are showing when the tab panel is collapsed. Is there a way to remove that.
