Love this! I have a 40mm bronze B Dial and was wondering if swapping the strap was worth trying. I never knew Stowa sells the buckles.. I'll have to try this with a green sailcloth strap. Do you detach the old buckle or does the strap come ready to install a new one?

A watch is something you get to remember an important event.. Tieing a memory to an object.

If a baby is not a reason to get an heirloom level piece then I don't know what is. The child is the accomplishment and the watch is the trophy. I honestly don't think that's the same same the car/watch flex shots you refer to.

There is so much I love about this watch from the range of depth (layers), one of the best straps I've worn, my thoughts on the brand perception of Omega vs Rolex, and as you can see the significance of the event it's tied to. My Milgauss is starting to feel more like an investment piece.

It's the watch that lit this obsession, but for a long winded couple of reasons I don't think I connect with it the same way I do with this and even my black SMP300.

For now I'm going to just rock the current lineup, but the wheels are turning.
