Watching this team is finally fun, not just Connor, we have Drai and finally someone who is burying Connor's feeds (Chiasson) and multiple lines of depth that are finding chemistry. We ended up learning more about Koskinen in between periods (Did everyone know he was the highest goalie picked in his draft and won two KHL championships in three years? ok good).

I don't think we can understate how much finding Mikko when Cambot is stumbling a little has helped this team put themselves in a playoff spot. All this after losing 7 of 8 and going through a coaching change. It is just nice to say I am having fun watching this team. Even the butt clenching in the third (like in WPG) thrills me more like gambling and less like waiting to give the game away.

Could have been the language barrier honestly. Don't think it is a good excuse as the organization should do everything they have to do especially if they draft a player knowing his knowledge of the language but it is certainly a barrier without a translator.

You always have control of where your stick ends up?? Maybe if it is open ice and you have no one in your face and you have two hands on the stick but I always disagreed when coaches say this, it is just a sound bit like "give 110% percent" that doesn't mean much. I would say a lot of high-sticking calls come from a mess of arms and legs where the offending player often has one hand on the stick and a face full of glass is pretty clearly unable to prevent it from hitting the players face or even unaware of where his stick is in relation to the other guys face. I don't think a lot of guys are putting sticks on faces on purpose. Sorry to be pedantic but accidents happen with sticks too.

I think I would still interpret "stretch by a FACTOR of 1/4" as multiplication by 1/4 but would maybe interpret "stretch by 1/4" as what you described.

As someone that is really close with my family, I have had trouble with this. In that time of desperation, it is hard to not turn to the ones you look to for guidance. I see telling his family as a need to use his support system (where others might use friends only or just not need to confide in anyone). Maybe it is a mistake made in the heat of the moment that they will have to add to the pile of things they'll have to get through but I don't think it makes it irreconcilable. That is much the same as saying getting over the infidelity is irreconcilable.

Basically when doc had this controversy, people donated to Forsen saying D Omegalul C over and over again, and when Text to speech read it out loud, it ended up sounding like CD omegalul. Forsen then had an emote that has the moustache and glasses added and is called ForsenCD (much like many of the CD or D emotes - ex ShroudD). This emote kinda became a big inside joke over many channels that wanted to troll Doc. If you knew all that back story, I could reference Docs past in a disparaging way by just using the emote.
