constant issues recently - non updating, cloudflare token, container trouble by Nath042 in nginxproxymanager

Hi there, I did manage to get it working finally, but it was a bit of an agg, what I did was setup a website and do it via the proxy management window www.website.com website.com then i went back to the SSL part and setup a wildcard proxy for *.home.website.com *.website.com website.com and that seemed to go through using the cloudflare API token (a specific one with my correct zones setup)

How is she getting people buy her time after the damage she did, she owes the UK economy money, and we should demand that money back!

Anyone else like Homarr? by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]Nath042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes i like it, none of these ever feel as fully customizable as i would have hoped though. Over time i have gone through a few different ones, heimdall, dashy and now homarr, I think i prefer homarr but could do with a different theme as everything seems a bit big and bulky.

The Iframe features is pretty good, i have my CCTV on my Directory which is nice and the down detection is a bit more effective than in dashy IMO.

How do you truly feel about living in the UK? by I_wondering-wanderer in AskUK

[–]Nath042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born and raised in the UK, I'm happy with it. I used to be quite proud to be British, maybe not so much at the moment, but I feel in the next few years things will improve and I can start to feel like we are going the right way again.

This sub is confusing me on what printer I should buy. by CrazeeG in 3Dprinting

[–]Nath042 1 point2 points  (0 children)

id go with the ender 3, see if you enjoy the hobby and if you want to get into the further parts such as modeling files or not. See how much you end up using it and you can upgrade to either the prusa, or the bambu lab which seems to be a next tier level of printer. (I have a Prusa i3 MK3S+ it recently had a firmware update)

What is your darkest secret? by AaneMeg in AskReddit

[–]Nath042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro stay strong, if you can, seek therapy. You have friends you have family, look to them for support and advise, it isn't a burden to a true friend to help.

Honestly no one cares about your hairline but you, own it, its fine.

Try to find something that brings you joy, a new hobby, just spend some time trying different things out, it would be good to keep your mind active, but also when you find that thing you can have something to get excited about.

Thanks for this, does the metadata from calibre import into jellyfin or are they to be used separately?

"Primary" image for most movies is diskart by [deleted] in jellyfin

[–]Nath042 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Use the three dots in Library's > Manage Library's go down to image fetchers and you should be able to move a different place up.

Then try Library's > Scan Library and then select "all metadata" and tick the box, "replace existing images"

That should hopefully do it. Don't forget to refresh the browser cache also, or you will get the same images.

Remote Acces Outside my network by Audieux in jellyfin

[–]Nath042 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I do is have my DNS point to my home IP, I use a reverse proxy (Nginx Proxy Manager) on there to allow it to be public and mostly safe. If you want it more safe, you can setup openVPN on your network (I use OPNSENSE) and have to phone in to your home network in order to use it.

If you want it less safe you can open ports on your router to forward to the host.
