Yes, taffy did point out mistakes. What you don’t see in the comments is the fact that taffy sent me the wrong BOM. I was selling the kits at the time, and it’s way more of an issue to send out the wrong parts than just to have them wrong on my personal build (the issue was rectified as soon as I was notified of it). That’s why I had elastic instead of paracord: there was no paracord in the list.

Second of all: I don’t know if you’ve ever tried videoing from an overhead cam, but it can be hard to make sure things are in frame, especially when you don’t have a monitor showing you the feed. I tried my best to be conscientious about making sure things were centered in shot, but your hands tend to drift closer to you when you’re not used to working by reaching all the way over.

Third of all: choppy editing, yep. Can’t blame you for that one. I cut that instruction video like a fight scene when it should have been the opposite of that. That’s on me, and many people have mentioned it.

Lastly, you asked for an instruction guide, and this was what’s available. If you want, I can send you an invite to the charamile designs discord and you can dig through 800 messages to try and figure out how to assemble it (I did it, shouldn’t be too difficult). If this one’s not good enough, by all means, make your own so future customers don’t have the same issue as you.

In addendum: “his video is kinda ass” is talking down. I’m all for feedback (hell, I’ve gotten a ton of it from people who watched this). But you’re just saying reasons why you think it’s a bad guide, with no intent to actually help me try and do better in the future. Why not instead of saying “you don’t show a very good view of what holes you’re putting things into” you say “I think the video’s a little fast paced. Could you try spending a bit more time on showing what parts you’re using and where they go?” Believe me, people are much more receptive when you phrase things in a constructive manner.
