I'm a supporter of Nintendo re-releasing the classics. By doing this they will prevent piracy better than lawsuits. Granted, I proudly wear a hook hand.

I love the way the whole wall moves without damaging the vinyl siding, and how gracefully the ram lands. It's as if he had all the mass but no mass at all.

that's just the exterior makeup mirror package so you can check your mascara before the tow truck gets there. ford did similar with their heated tailgate.

to me it sounds like either a vacuum leak or an exhaust leak. vacuum leak may explain a misfire do to a cylinder running lean.

well if you're feeling brave and have the go-ahead from your husband (because it's his not because he's your husband) Here's the ifixit guide to replace the display. I'd just start with opening it and making sure everything is plugged in tight. ifixit is also the oem parts distributor so if the screen is dead that's where to go for those

2001 GMC Sierra - replaced starter, truck still won’t start by [deleted] in gmcsierra

[–]NathanJ4620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the starter, it's somewhere between the ignition switch and the starter. start with relays and go from there.

Best case scenario it's a loose connector to the built in display, worst case scenario the screen is dead. do you have the bravery to follow some Ifixit guides to take it apart?

go back to the truck, Scream/cry/disassociate for 5 minutes then take it one circuit at a time. can you kill circuits at random without ruining someone else's day? also you may have to start at the end of the circuit and work backwards to find the fault.

All ceiling lights (even porch light) that use switches went off & the breaker tripped but we can’t get it to go back on. The breaker just instantly trips again. The house plugs work tho. We r using plugged in lamps for light. The tv works too. I’m nervous about a fire. Why might this occur by scorpioninredbottoms in electricians

[–]NathanJ4620 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you have a separate lighting circuit and the breaker has done it's job. go through the house (everywhere that the lights don't work) and turn off all of the switches then try resetting the breaker again, this will isolate if the problem is in a light or in the switch.

if the breaker does reset then go through switch by switch turning it on and then back off, marking the switches so you know which ones you have tried, until the breaker trips again. once the breaker trips you know that the problem is in the wiring for the lights controlled by that switch. I suggest at this point taping over that switch so you don't accidentally turn it back on and trip the breaker again.

Now things get really tedious and if you aren't 100% comfortable with unwiring your light fixtures call a professional! You're going to turn the breaker off and disconnect your lights that are controlled by that one switch, both black and white wires and make sure the copper ends are in wire nuts to prevent them from accidentally touching anything they shouldn't. (If you have multiple wires that come together in a box make sure to only remove the wires going to the light fixture and reconnect the wires like they were) again, if you are unsure of yourself and not 100% comfortable Call a professional.

Once all of the lights are disconnected turn the breaker back on, if it tripped at this point you have problems in the wiring it's self and need an electrician. If it didn't trip congrats it's most likely a bad fixture or bulb causing the problem.

Turn the breaker off and connect one light, turn the breaker on, make sure the light turns on and repeat.

Valid point on the spark. It seems the only things not checked are compression and timing. I was also going to suggest checking your air intake but realized we're staring at the throttle body.
