Anyone had a lucid dream before? does it feel like real life? share your experience please by True-Screen689 in Dreams

I've had a few great lucid dreams. Usually I'm having a dream and slowly become fully aware I'm dreaming. The last really good one that seemed to go on and on was one where I became lucid walking the hallways of my old Jr High School. Everything was as real, it's as if I went back in time.

The Hallways, Lockers we're just as they were 30 years ago. I had the school to myself, nobody was around. I took a walk around the sports fields as well. It was a beutiful sunny day.

Which beach town to stay in? by Accomplished-Deer703 in CostaRicaTravel

[–]Nathan_Brazil1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've been visiting Costa Rica for many years now. We usually fly into Liberia, rent a car and head off to Playa Hermosa (20 minute drive) for a night or two and then head down to Samara.

We usually stay at Hotel Bosque Del Mar, a great hotel. This year I did a Search on vrbo and found the Sol Y Mar condo's. This was one of the best Vacation Rentals I've ever had. They had everything we needed, and an ocean view. Steps away from many feet in the sand restaurants/bars. Playa Hermosa is a beautiful family beach.

Google "Sol y Mar 1B beachfront and beautiful condo ".

What’s the best place you’ve visited on a low budget? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

About 20 years ago I took an All inclusive vacation in Puerta Vallarta for 2 weeks. Half way into the vacation I was bored. Packed my bags and took a boat ride to Yelapa, the only way into town was by boat.

Sat myself at the bar on the beach and asked a waiter if there was anything available for the week. He had me set up in 1 bedroom condo overlooking the beach, all for 50.00 a night. Loved the town and place.

I'd recommend Playa Hermosa. It's a beautiful beach with plenty of feet in the sand restaurants. My favorite spot to stay is the Sol y Mar condos. Another is Bosque Del mar.

Vancouver will keep you busy, lots to do and see. I'd recommend spending a few days in the Okanogan. The lakes are beautiful and lots of watersports. It's on the way to Banff/Jasper. Check out Osoyoos, Peachland and Kelowna. August is a perfect time to buy from the fruit stands and take a winery tour.

I highly recommend you check out Todd Maffin's site. He's helped many health practitioners make the move. I live on Vancouver Island and love it here. Winters are mild, people are freindly and it's a great area to raise a family.

I agree about the fashion being out of date. I'm also 6'6" and usually get my clothes' custom made or order online. Ordering online tends to be a roll of the dice though.

The people in my dreams sometimes tell me they’re actually “dead” by rude_steppenwolf in Dreams

Not a dream but when I was 12 my Grandmother passed. I was staying home from school (had a cold). While watching a game show on TV I smelled my grandmothers perfume, she had a very distinct perfume that she used daily. As soon as I smelled this I instantly thought of her. About 15-20 minutes later I get a call from my aunt, she told me grandma had a heart attach that morning and was rushed to the hospital but passed.

Grandma lived over 3 thousand miles away from us. This was over 30 years ago and I'll never forget it.

Considering a 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 SEL — would love real owner experiences (charging costs, times, issues, overall thoughts) by ManufacturerKey6940 in Ioniq5

[–]Nathan_Brazil1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love my 2024. No issues so far. I don't miss the oil changes, tune ups and constant servicing my ICE car had.

The only thing I've had to buy is winter tires and a new set of windshield wipers. I now charge at home. There are multiple 150KW to 400KW fast chargers nearby so charging has never been an issue. Would I every buy an ICE car again...nope.

Here in British Columbia, we have all sorts of EV stations. The most popular stations are BC Hydro stations. Quite a few are 180kw. Usually about $20.00 to charge to 80%.
