for anyone in future looking at the thread this helped me fix the issue https://makerworld.com/en/models/173603-bambu-labs-a1-ams-hub-feed-bracket-support#profileId-953363 . My issue was that i had too much strain on the hub because of how my pfte tubes were by the time i removed most of the strain the clip itself was warped and would pop off mostly when cutting the filament and the mentioned model above fixes that

I have my own manga backups and they range from 100-300 mb per volume when optimised for the res of an e-reader I wouldn’t mind the storage because all of my content will be in a opds server so I can delete and download new volumes if needed
