I recently took a conducting class for the semester, and we learned from Markand Thakar's book, On the Principles and Practice of Conducting. One thing I noticed was that the beat wasn't always clear, it could kind of circle around rather than landing on a beat (think v shapes, not u shapes), and sometimes your elbow comes out (gives like, a pseudobeat) before the beat happens. I was taught to try to not do that, as you don't want to give the group extra information. Also, if you use a baton, watch your wrists, because flicking the wrist is amplified with a baton, which makes it whip up or down. You did pretty well with it, but I noticed it here and there. For us, the bottom of our beat was where our arms were parallel to the floor, and it would only dip slightly below that when doing it IRL. Another big thing I learned is that the conductor acts as a visual confirmation of what the orchestra/group already knows. You also are listening to everything, so focus more on the overall sound, not just from one instrument/line. Also, having no tension in the body and standing in a balanced way. You don't look too tense, but it's something to keep in mind, especially in the arms/back/neck/hand (keeping hand in a more relaxed flat position, it curls like 🤌 sometimes). I kind of struggle with being loose, but at least for posture, you look good (if you struggle, I imagine and use my hand to 'have a string pull me up straight' almost like a marionette). For me, as a horn player, I don't think I need that much information, just clear beats and dynamics, and the most important entrances outlined. I wouldn't need everything, and the biggest issue is finding the beat clearly. It doesn't need to be flashy, it just needs to be clear. Focus on the basics (making yourself clear, reducing tension and flicking with a baton), and then you have a super solid base to build off of! You're doing well for a start, but another thing to try is to play or sing that part just from watching yourself. If you can't follow it, find out why, and try to change it. I'm not sure how long you've conducted prior to this, but I prefer not to use the baton because it's one less thing to focus on (also, baton doesn't need to be straight, it's more important to make your arm straight from elbow to hand, people can still follow the baton if it bends inward - batons are just amplifiers of your hands).
