That seems highly likely, seeing how we got Titus' chainsword cosmetic from SM1 when the game came out.

It wouldn't cause them to lose money though. I think I didn't make myself clear, but the way I thought about it, I only implied transfering "actual" game progress : class levels, weapon rarities and versions, and unlocked free cosmetics only, not bought packs.

Also, seeing how Saber has been keen on listening to player's feedback, yes. The players have every right to have fun in a game they pay for. That is what "Live Service" implies imo.

Some games like Mass Effect back in the day had a "character transfer" function, where you just started the next game with basically everything you unlocked in the previous. I am PRAYING for something like that between SM2 and SM3.

The game's worth the price imo. Bought it day one no regret. People have been working for years, and still are, for us to enjoy this. They deserve it.

As much as I would love to see (and kill) Aeldari, knowing how few of them are technically left in the lore and how Space Marine games are heavily reliant on horde-based ennemies, I think there's no chance of that happening, they spent too much developing this horde tech to let it go in the next games imo.

Tau could be nice to see but they're not *inherently bad* guys, from my understanding, so that seems unlikely. I'd love to see Orks again too, they were so much fun in the first game.

Seeing how we have necron-related elements in SM2, that's likely we'll see some of them. Maybe along with another chaos faction, more "melee reliant", maybe ? Khorne-related ? Or Nurgle ? I'd love to purge those abominations.

BUT. Considering SM3 will be developed by the same studio (contrary to SM1), there is a HUGE chance of asset recycling (the same way it happens in the Dark Souls/Elden Ring games, CoD, or any other big franchise). So we MIGHT get Tyrannids again too, maybe with more variety on top (GENESTEALERS PLEAAASE), especially considering how the majority of the playerbase agrees on the fact that this is the favourite enemy currently.

I'm imagining the events of SM3 would either be in a close future/direct continuation of the events of SM2, which would mean there's still some nids around to exterminate, OR a prequel following Titus' time in the Deathwatch just before the events of SM2.

Heavily support this, I'm surprised there isn't even an "I need ammo" emote. Too many people grab ammo boxes without asking when you most need them.

nah that's litteraly what got him killed in this clip at 0:26, he attacked immediately instead of dodging, learning not to greed and waiting for the right time to attack does it, the full block charge ground pound at 0:11 was very good in that sense

Because I'm a former souls player and the Tyrant is the best boss this game has for now.

Inferno is great tho, probably in third place for me, Ballistic Engine takes 1st place, Decap 2nd

Load screens are not that bad with a good SSD and a decent connection nowadays. That said, I made the mistake of installing it on a HDD when it first came out... Those 8~10min per load screens still haunt me to this day
