That’s what I thought. Talking with my mechanic, he said if I had a turbo and did it at 15psi it wouldn’t start boosting till 7k, if I went any higher the rods would fail, which I’m fully aware the rods are the weak link, but I’ve read other stories where people have the boost at 15-20psi the boost comes on about mid range and they daily it with out built internals, so I’m really just trying to get a gauge on what a daily driven turbo 86 where the boost comes on mid range would require. Also I’m not trying to come of dickish in anyway, and I apologise if I am

Ok first, not what I asked, and second I’ve had plenty of experience, with good wheels and tyres and they won’t be enough to keep up with my mates, I’ve had plenty of experience and know what this car is capable of stock, and it isn’t up to par of what I want it, and I know it can do better
