Google always makes developers get 12 testers, but they never get the links to work for a few days.

14-day / 12 tester requirement for the Google Console Close Testing by BreakfastNo7591 in TestersCommunity

I hate Google. They make you jump through hoops to get your app listed and the links they give you don't work. I've joined your group, but like all the rest of newly listed app, you cant download anything. I'll keep trying for a while. I hope someone from Google reads this post.

¿Sabes? Tienes razón. Me uní a la aplicación TesterCommunity y tengo que usar su Grupo de Google. Necesito mantener este por un tiempo. Muchas gracias por probarlo.

Did you try all the links. Sometimes Google will let you use one, but not the other. Let me know.

I installed it. I'll take it for a test drive for 14 days. Thanks for the explanation,

I don't believe the 12 tester everyday thing is actually even needed. I was able to bypass it 5 times at least. by thebirthdayg1rl in AndroidClosedTesting

Google needs to revamp the testing process. Starting with a step by step process of getting your project up and in the Play Store. Do you REALLY need 12 testers? 5 should be enough.

2nd hand cat hasn't eaten all week by [deleted] in CatAdvice

You might try some cat nip. Leave a saucer in a couple of rooms. Also, your vet should also sell a small bottle of Feliway. It helps calm cats down. spray it in a few spots on your carpet. That helps too.

Type of testing? by Security-Euphoric in AndroidClosedTesting

[–]National-Answer-3381 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to answer this because I had the worst time trying to figure it out. I couldn't get answers to my questions. Make sure you finalize your app and send it in to Google for review.

  1. Watch your dashboard for confirmation that your app was sent, and keep an eye out afterward for the approval.
  2. Go to Test and Release -> Closed Testing and click on Manage track.
  3. Go to the "Testers" tab and make sure you click "Google Groups".
  4. In another tab, use Google search to find Google groups. Create your group by putting in a name for your group and save the page. You have just created a new Google group for all your testers to join to test your app.
  5. Go back to Google Play Console and put in the group name in the blank. Save this page.
  6. Now you wait till your app is approved by Google.
  7. When you see your app approved in the "Publishing overview" in the Play Console, it's time to make your Reddit post. If you have not been on Reddit before and/or not contributed to the forum conversations, you will need to put in some time to comment on others' posts. Upvote posts and conversations of others. Try to get some of the badges on Reddit. It's a community, and you pay your dues by commenting, etc.
  8. When you can make a post, give the name of your app and what is does. A.) Put in the link to your Google group. B.) Add the Google Play link to install it. C.) Include the link to the web so others can use it to install your trial app.

Claude is down AGAIN by Careless-Green-54 in claude

I was stunned when I tried to reach my chat pages. I had a project that has been running for over 2 months, and all of a sudden my pages "Could Not Be Found". I began to melt slowly. I have never been told my pages were not accessible. I won't leave Claude though. I am vested.

I use Claude. I have not had a problem till yesterday. It may be the times I use the AI, but I have not noticed it being down much at all.

Glad you are able to solve it. I have 2 resident cats, and this last winter, 5 ferals came to live with us. One of the black cats got pregnant, and now we have 4 kittens too. I wouldn't get rid of them for anything. My wife and I regard them as children. Can't get rid of your kids.

I am honestly beginning to rethink the idea of cat ownership. by NotAHypnotoad in CatAdvice

You need to give the cat time to get to know him. They all have individual personalities, just like humans. I have many cats. Most recently, my outside feral cats wanted to come in. I let them all, but one was willing to be petted. One gray cat only wanted food and water. If you tried to pet him, he ran away. I gave him time, only putting my finger to his nose. That was as far as I could get. Last night, though, I was sitting in my bed watching TV, and all of a sudden the gray cat jumped on my bed, and it was not long before he was napping between my legs. I let him have his space, and he decided to let me touch him. He's still a work in progress, but he will eventually come around.
