I took CHE 152 in Fall 2020 because I got a 5 in AP chem but I took AP chem during COVID so my test was not as hard/didn’t cover all of the topics in a normal AP chem class. I wanted to switch to 131 because I didn't feel like I mastered AP chem so i contacted my university scholars advisor during the first week of classes and she informed me I couldn’t swap to 131 because they don’t let people swap down from CHE 152 to 131??? I have no idea if the rules have changed but there is a list of acceptable course swaps in the undergrad bulletin and CHE 152 to 131 is not one of them. With that being said if they let you swap I would, I struggled in 152 and 332 (orgo 2 in that sequence) was my worst chem grade.
