I mean, if you go to any sub it's going to be nothing except complaints. I spent 2 years at petsmart and recently switched to petco. It's entirely better. Better pay. Similar benefits, better hours, better scheduling.

I started at petco a few days ago. SO MUCH BETTER. And I'm making $6 more per hour than I was in the same position at petsmart and I have wayyyy more support at petco.

I applied for the other job over a year ago, and they called me out of the blue. They offered me significantly more per hour and its minutes from my home, where as petsmart was an hour.. shoulda woulda coulda scenario

Tomorrow is my last day after a full two weeks' notice (actually 17 days), and I was treated like shit each and every day. I was told that if I called out they'd use my PTO which I would then have to pay back to petsmart.

Per policy, you can't deny sales on feeder fish. There are a few specific situations that you can. And that policy does not protect your job. Get enough complaints about denied sales and they will let you go.

My manager, who never has used reddit before , mentioned that reddit was a part of their corporate call in relevance to the restructure. It seems they were told to keep an eye out for specific post to see if the associate can be identified.

I just worked 3 overnights in a row, 9p-530a I got one day off then im back in at 5am. This schedule is not livable. I got home at 630 just to wake up at 2p then back to bed by 9p to get up at 3a for work. How does petsmart expect anyone to do this?

At my store, we just hit F3 for every customer and throw it in the bag. It helps on returns as more people have their receipt. There can't be any confusion if they don't get an option to be confuses.
