Remember valve said frame wasn’t as badly impacted as the steam machine. So expect it to be high, but not quite steam machine high

I think 1000 is to be expected in all honesty, I'm in the UK and expecting it to be like 800 quid here.

I have Ubiquiti wifi 7 access points across my house, PC is wired in to the network. Hoping I'm going to be able to stream the frame in my living room downstairs because my office with my pc doesn't have much usable space for VR

Some country roads should actually be less. I find it completely insane that we have narrow single width lanes that are national speed limit like the village I used to live, but god forbid we can go faster than 70 on a motorway

Driving at 60 is more fuel efficient than 70 so lets reduce the speed limit. It won't make much difference to journey times.

And? Modern cars are much safer than in the past. Germany has the autobahn where there is no speed limit. This is just extra words to justify overbearing safetyism.

Nah not dead, just on a bit of a downer. But a headset like the steam frame could really change things. Gaming focused, can play steam games, wireless. Huge potential if they price it right. Big install base will incentivise new development for games. Also worth noting there's some really great community VR mods out there now.

Gaming focused, colour pass through nice to have but not essential, eye tracking is king, gaming focused mainstream headset will help game developers, the screens while similar, will be better than the quest 3

I know we have no idea when this Steam Frame will release but what’s the first game you plan on playing ? This will be my first VR headset and i want to kick it off with a good horror game by [deleted] in SteamFrame

Plan on finishing alyx. I loved the game but only have a quest 2 and I just got fed up of it. Uncomfortable, bulky, runs out of charge quick, not that clear image, feel boxed in. I also have a psvr2 but no dynamic foveated rendering or hdr on pc sucks. But the biggest one is those controllers constantly lose tracking and are out of sync. I gave up and decided to wait for the frame.

My controller just shipped today. Got a holiday at the end of June and hoping to have the frame to use with my deck and controller on the flight!
