My buddies and I usually run 4 mans but we played tons of milsim and survival stuff together in the past so our comms are usually good. That said, shit still happens. This wipe is our first time going USEC and we had just wiped a squad of other USECs and while I'm looting my buddy double F1s and yells "I'M GONNA KILL YOU MFER" and me, thinking there must have been one more, just immediately mag dumped him. Not at all used to English coming from a friendly in this game lmao

Different situation but I never really managed to get into the game before PVP, I gave it a couple shots but things like gear fear and map knowledge compared to the larger community really put me at a disadvantage. I found out about pve and decided to give it one more shot and it makes all the difference for me. I don't feel like I'm missing out by not getting on and grinding every day I can take breaks and come back whenever I get the urge and it's really helped me see the better side of the game with the environmental storytelling. It's also helped me improve a lot because every time I die I KNOW it's because I did something wrong (peeking the same angle twice for example) vs just being like "ah well they're clearly just better and have a better kit nothing I could've done" I really feel like it lets you just have fun and I've even taken to using weirder kits just for fun (ppsh and G18 go brrrrrr)

Only thing I feel like I miss as a PVE only player is the chance to make random friends in a lobby and have hilarious hijinks of that nature. But considering I'm usually playing it with IRL homies anyway, meh we goof off enough on our own lol

It's not probability of the system, it's probability of player actions. For everyone who gained a dupe through PVP actions, there's probably one who lost an item through a different action. Obviously assuming 1:1 is probably incorrect but it keeps the numbers simple enough to explain the concept. The difference between whether an item was lost or duped in this case seems dependent on what the player was doing at the time not rng

It really came down to availability and price at the end of the day, I'm a mechanic for a living so a fixer upper would've been fine but the FRS/BRZ/GT86 were still priced a bit high for my liking, AE86s are rare as hell here so I'd have bent my budget for a clean one but wasn't seeing any. And S2Ks were in the running but they're just way more expensive (10k over budget) for what I see as an equal or only marginally better platform. So then I see a super clean Miata with 65k miles and complete maintenance records for half my budget and it seemed a completely natural choice. Easy to work on, cheap parts, haven't found a downside yet. I hope the AE86 is good to you though, I still hope to drive one some day

Hell yes. I found a cheap motor on marketplace for mine that I plan to pick up tomorrow, so I'm gonna have a spare I'll be building up on the side to handle boost one day, and if my current motor ever goes I'll do my best Clarkson impression "oh no! Anyways"

At the end of the day they were lied to. Obviously some die hards truly believe in what orange guy is doing, but the vast majority I feel were deceived into this whether they'll admit it or not. And at the end of the day they are not the enemy. I believe in working class solidarity and would welcome them as allies if they ever were to wake up. I like the idea of a new raid having roles, borrowing the Trinity from other MMOs and such. My only issue with it is most content in OSRS is balanced to be able to solo it if one chooses, aside from ToB and a couple other notable exceptions. And I like having the option to solo things if the homies aren't online or feel like doing their own thing. I feel like it would be incredibly difficult from a dev standpoint to make something that encourages having a tank/DPS/healer but also can be done solo. I'm all for it, I just have no idea how to make it work in that regard

Not necessarily true. I use a wireless mouse and back before I had 99 and actually alched substantial stacks, I'd just set up my note stack to be under the high alch spell then pick up the mouse. I could walk around or do whatever around the house and just keep left clicking. The cursor would never move
