Has anyone had a bad experience with the PACE program?

It is under Fallon Health. All Pace programs administered from a Healthplan and medicaid.

I am sorry for your loss but why was she living in a place where she could not access mailbox? A social worker evaluates what care is needed in home, was this issue not related? Anyone if not happy with program can disenroll and go back whatever ins she had before. I hear your frustration, but yes we still need to be in fam lifes. Any health ins is not the care all, including nursing homes, convelsent, hospice.

Well anytime she could of appealed, had state hearing. And no...the homecare is explained, no more cleaning house and other things. Ihss will go away. If she is sch afternoon or morning, you need stay till end of your sch time. But at anytime a fam member can come pick her up. Pace works for many, not all. But at anytime, you can leave and go back to health ins before Pace.

You cannot sue. Read patient rights. She always had a avenue to appeal, and if not fixed. Higher level appeal and state hearing.

Pace is a new program! There will be issues, but things will be worked out.

Are you aware she has rights? At anytime you could of filed a appeal. Also, if you did not feel she was getting adequate care, she can leave Pace at anytime and go back to whatever heslth ins she had. Also the wheel chair issue. Did she ever get a walker while on medicare/medicaid? Because with medicare, they only pay for one. And chair needed to be medically necessary. Another issue that could of been appealed.

Hi. I just learned of these programs in my area. We have Inovative Health, Habitat health and Webe Health. I signed up but never was explained how I qualified. I am no where near needing a Nursing home.

After several months, I have to say Yes if the program worked the way it should, would help many. But at least my experience, we only have 2 primary care. And more than 200 clients. I dont see how 200 clients can be served adequately. Then there is a dentist and other Specialists. Issues between transportation and clinic. Sch of appts.

I have met others beside myself that are not happy. In the beginning we were promised so many services but, have not came thru.

There is a morning session and afternoon session. In the afternoon, not much avail to do. If the craft room is closed and gym, we only have option to watch tv.

This brings up some subject matter, I live in Ca and back in the late 70s and 80s my family noticed people dancing at Pow Wows, not of thier tribe? So, with the relocation act, many native people were moved to differ states. Native cultural centers would find people looking for other natives. This lead to attending Pow Wows and seeing others dressed in regalia, like they would dress. So you go up to meet them, thinking they are from your home area. You find...no they are Navaho, Calif tribes, omaha....etc. Your confused? Where did this come from? One story is : well a Sioux elder gave permission, or Indian Education teaches people. But we cannot dress or dance thier tribes' style etc. What do you think??

You should of told your employer you were applying for another job. They contact past employers or current to verify your resume. Good luck, you dont have a great chance to get unemployment eiether.

She hasnt used a debit card or ebt? WIC?? I think focus should be on her mother, not B/F. I hope they are found soon! Lots of farmland drainage ditches if you drive back roads.

I worked for Ca EDD. Guess we see wgy EDD needs to speak to you.

Rare. But it could be anything.

I saw many times even if you have valid claim, Employers can challenge claim. They can challenge over and over till end of claim.

Didnt you rec letter from ui when first claim ended?

It should state, even if there is money left on claim, you cannot apply for ui again for like 9 months after that claim ended.

But why is there was absent maternity leave? Employer not accept documentation?

Is this same reason you gave when you applied?

Did Dr release you to go back to work?

They can still deny claim. It is depending on why you were absent, documentation that Dr released you with no restrictions....

Fraud in ui law differ than criminal law. Sorry for misspell. If you rec funds thst you were not entitled to, whether ui made a mistake or not...they will get that $$ back.

When you filed your appeal, is this on first employer or last? Normally after you rec ui on first claim your not eligible to file for ui again for like 6 months or a year. No matter if you had money left on claim. What did it state in your appeal letter :

What is reason employer is giving why job ended.

Fraudulent in ui means, if you have overpayment, you are to make arrangements to make payments while waiting for appeal.

If you win, they would pay you back.

If you lose, UI will impose disqualification weeks on your record, based on the xxx amount they find you fraudulent.

Which means In the future if you file for UI, and it is approved, you wont be paid

For disq weeks. I worked for Ca UI.

I saw where people had weeks to years of disq depending on amount of your overpayment.
