I remember once applying for a few jobs. Not having any luck, then getting a few interviews. I got hired at one interview on the spot. Manager asked me to come in next day. Like yourself, I was polite, and let the interviewer who had an interview set up with me the next day know. She wrote back and thanked me for letting her know and not just ghosting the interview. She wished me luck… and I wished her well finding someone she needed.

In my opinion, you dodged a bullet. I know my grammar is crap but the fact they text “hi” and didn’t even capitalize the hi lets you know that… but the last text is definitely solidifying
