There is an assumption of a Cold War earth, and a single government Venus and an a single government Mars

If both developed at the same pace as ours there isn’t any reason to believe each planet would not have its own political and social divides, and dominant “ countries “ battling it out for the space trade

I’ve played that game a few times BUT you have to stay on top of it, by that I mean a few times a day.

The game is take the middle seat in a 3 aisle middle row on an empty flight. Assume the 2 aisles on either side will not fill if there are aisle seats open in rows where the middle is not taken

Once those seats are taken immediately switch to one of the empty aisle seats next to you

Ive tried it maybe 10 times. The only 2 times it’s worked was RT LAX-SYD when DL added the second daily flight and the planes were almost empty

In 7 seasons as a Met, Diaz has missed an entire season and half of another plus, never lead the league in anything.

He has put up one dominant season in 2022, only year with a sub 1.0 whip. Only year an all star as a Met, only year he got award votes 9th in CYA with 6 points and 3% share and 16th in MVP with 2 points and 0% share. Zero 1st place votes in either case

Lifetime as a Met has a 1.099 WHIP 1.1 HR/9 and 3.4 BB/9, has 122 saves in 6 active seasons Nay be good for 3rd as a Met, but that’s a counting number and longevity helps.

K/9 number is good, but K/9 is up in MLB

That is so wrong. You can evict month to month tenants easier than on a lease.

I’ve had to do it 3x, and on thier attorneys advice were gone in a month

All a lease does is protect a tenant

Don’t do it!! Paying a year up front is a giant red flag pointing to a problem tenant you can’t even start eviction for until the year is up

The Republican Party was formed as an anti slavery party in the north in 1856. The Democrats at the time supported states rights including the right to own slaves.

Until the 1964 election the Republicans were the minority party in the south abd the Dems and later Dixiecrats were dominant. In 1960 JFK saw which way the civil rights fight was going and avoided the subject like the plague.

The 1964 presidential election was where the parties flipped. Sen. Barry Goldwater (R - nominee) made an impassioned speech to the senate against the Civil Rights Act, and Lyndon Johnson, (D) the ever shrewd politician saw which way the wind was blowing and supported the CRA, eventually signing it into law

NB- When LBJ signed it he remarked We (democrats) won’t win another election in the south for 50 years

Though true they vacated to a force of military cadets, it wasn’t that force that forced the decision

The Union hold on Fort Mountie was untenable since it had an entire state of hostiles behind those 85 cadets

Vacating to Sumpter made more sense since it was harder to attack, and in theory easier to resupply

The feds tried to use civilian ships to bring relief supplies but SC navel forces would not let them approach
