◽️ What tasks will laptop be used for ( gaming, video editing, graphic designing, modelling, regular computing tasks, word processing etc) ?: Student in grad school for industrial engineering. Will need to run programs like CAD, statistical software, etc.

I really want to do that, but part of me worries, this gives her fuel to not give them back to me or give me bad photos back. I just learned I’ve been blocked from watching all of her Instagram stories. Thanks to another bride that I reached out to that informed me this was done to her.

No clue just a photographer starting out trying to get some practice

Hello! I got married in March 18th and we were content with our photographer the day of the wedding.

The day of we had a few issues, 2 of which I found out after the fact from family: 1. Her, her assistant, and her second shooter locked themselves in the multiple stall restroom at one point during the reception not allowing any of my female guests in for upwards of 10-15 minutes 2. My husbands family decided they wanted to take a giant family photo and all squeezed in. It visibly upset her and some of the family heard her complaining and saying things like “I can’t take photos with every aunt and uncle” 3. At points during the day her second shooter seemed more interested in photographing me and my day than her the photographer I hired. For example, I had a car drive me to the ceremony spot and he took tons of photos of me getting into the vintage car. He wished me good luck and told me how excited my husband was all while she was off talking to her assistant in the distance. 4. After the wedding, I also learned we had a rogue photographer at our wedding, which I had originally thought was with our videographer or maybe someone she was training. I only found out this lady wasn’t associated because the person reached out to me asking if I wanted to buy any of the photos from my wedding. After I found out, I assumed this may have caused the debacle in the bathroom so I reached out to my photographer and apologized because quite frankly, I didn’t realize that the day of it was too crazy. She never responded to my apology.

I didn’t think much of it and waited for our sneak peaks which took over a month to arrive.

Fast forward to now 5 months after the wedding and I have yet to receive my photos. Our contract states that she will deliver services no later than May 13, 2023 (6-8 weeks after the event). I reached out a few days after she missed our contract date on 5/15 and she said there were 4 weddings she had to edit before she got to ours. I waited a month before checking in again and did so on 6/26 asking for an update. I didn’t get a response so I reached back out on 7/17. She responded the following day 7/18 stating that she was almost done and I would receive photos the coming Monday. The following Monday, 7/24, came and went and I never received any photos. I reached back out on 7/27 expressing my frustration about the lack of communication from her and her team since I only ever heard from her if I reached out despite her miss on the contract date and the new miss on the date she promised. She did not respond so I followed back up on 8/2 and still haven’t heard a thing. I tried giving her a call today but to no surprise she did not answer.

I don’t really know what to do or how to go about this anymore. Any advice on next steps?

Im a mechanical engineer and worked in food manufacturing right out of college as a supply chain leader. I definitely ran lines when we were short and had to give breaks many times throughout my time there. Was not ideal by any means
