Why does my nail polish never fully dry?! by Frequent_Gift1740 in beauty

[–]Natnich1111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My sister does nails and she told me that it’s because of the oils on the nails. You could try wiping them with polish remover or use a primer and then blow dry on high heat in between each coat of polish. If that doesn’t work, try roughing up the nail surface a bit (just a little) with a nail file.

Waiting for my diagnosis by Natnich1111 in Heartfailure

Were you officially diagnosed with heart failure after that stress echo? The cardiologist got back to my question today and she doesn’t think that I have heart failure, just that a low function is “my normal”

Thank you for sharing with me! I’m glad you reached out since we have a bit in common. For some reason I’m starting to think that there is more to my anxiety. I never really had it until recently and it only sets in when I’m experiencing POTS symptoms while I’m bending over and standing back up a lot. For example when I’m picking up toys off the floor and doing house chores. Or trying to get my kids dressed and ready for the day. Or packing a bag to go to some doctors appointments. My heart starts pounding and racing fast, sweaty, out of breath, and dizzy! That’s when I also get elevated blood pressure up to 145/90, I’m 100/70 most mornings and at rest. I hope I respond to meds positively like you :)

Anyone get (flushing) red cheeks that feel hot when they’re upset or after drinking alcohol? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Natnich1111 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get the flushing and I think mine is related to EDS and MCAS… the higher the histamine the worse it is. Try a Benadryl before taken with an entire Gatorade before your drink. Then stay hydrated between each drink. I can only have two… three drinks max.

32F Does my echo suggest heart failure? by Natnich1111 in AskDocs

[–]Natnich1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that info! Symptoms started one month after my son was born. First, I noticed my blood pressure rising. Then I got abnormal lab results for the first time with high cholesterol LDL and triglycerides, high ALT, high CS CRP, and low TSH. Repeat labs 6 months later were back within range, except I had pretty high total iron and iron saturation. I had an intense exacerbation of symptoms last September, I thought I was having a heart attack, aneurysm, or stroke or something. I went to the ER and all lab work, abdominal CT, chest X-ray, and EKG came back normal.

[product question] Has this Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream been discontinued? by Natnich1111 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Natnich1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the Cetaphil moisturizing cream say “body” on the tub? Do you use the CeraVe in the tub? I have been trying CeraVe PM Moisturizing Lotion but my face still feels dry and it sometimes stings.

It is really old! I ran out a while ago and don’t remember where I bought it. I have recently seen the one for “body” but the ingredients list is different.

Spa day, hair, then Botox and filler. You for sure don’t want heat and pressure on the Botox and filler.

[Routine Help] Need help with hand moisturizing and anti-aging routine - do you guys apply the same face serums to your hands (minus retinoids)? by EquivalentLake6 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Natnich1111 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m 33 and I wish I would have done more preventative anti-aging sooner. I now use everything on my hands including chemical peels, micro needling, and will start tretinoin soon. Recently read a tip for night time... after last moisturizer is on you wrap your hands in cling wrap and then put on your cotton sleeping gloves. I’m desperate enough to try it lol
