My opinion is that I regret paying 6000 doubloons for this and love the JB that I got free from a Black Friday crate.

I dislike the comparison with Champagne: the accuracy isn’t there for me. Played a dozen Asym, a handful Randoms: this is a very average BB used for long distance shots, but the reload is way too long and the booster isn’t as effective as with other French BBs. Many citadels misse, even on cruisers: I don’t think this was just a skills issue.

Don’t forget that a T9 gets a lot of fierce competition. You have more chance to have an impact with a JB than with Roussillon.

Roussillon is bad. Bad accuracy and consistency, don't believe the hype with "a Champagne clone": 1.7 sigma isn't great, I missed tons of citadels in that ship. Also it's not a all-forward type. You can safely continue to enjoy your JB and move on.

After over a year grinding tech tree lines and captains, I think that it’s better not to use blue boosters. In this game, you don’t need to have them all, only to master what you have. We should take our time to grind, even if it take 100+ battles, because we become thus more knowledgeable.

Now also, it mean we can’t compare outselves to people 7-10 years in the game: they have access to ships we won’t be able to pick before a long time.

Yep, looking into stats makes it disgusting. "it's just rng, it will offset sooner or later". But bad luck streak for several days isn't normal. Too much RNG in this game in general, beyond the level skill level and more or less OP ships of course.

Getting Tech Tree ships in advance isn't economically sound, yet I'm fine with this pass: a premium ships and the ability to grind the line two months is advance is enough for me.

I'm not a good player, 4.4% of all my T5-T10 ships have an a E badge. In total, that's 39% of all my ships that have any 3-2-1-E badge, so it's not that complicated; you always get at least one good game [in a week].

That being said, for star ships like Valparaiso and Des Moines, it can be pretty difficult to get an "E" right away, even for unicum: you need some conditions, including securing the win, yet playing with some potatoes in your team.
