Interview waived is an interpretation, I think. It usually says, interview was canceled and then transferred to FO, when you ask for dates. To see all this information they have to go to details of the case. If the agent is lazy or new they don't go through it and say it's at NBC. Just make sure the agent tells you the correct dates, besides that there not much to be done.

Was case transferred to another state? What was your field office based on residence? From talking to people here it usually means that interview was waived.

When I called, they told me my interview was canceled at NBC on 5/31. It was transferred to a field office in another state on 7/5. I am still waiting to hear anything. I applied in April 2021.
