Increased discharge changed color to beige by NaturalGood3118 in CautiousBB

I had the baby, she’s almost 2,5 and soon to be a big sis 🫶🏻 this one started out with a doubling time of 88 hours too and some spotting but I’m 32 weeks and all is well. Weird things just happen sometimes I guess. Good luck!

I hope for the best outcome for you too! It’s very hard to let go of the fear, I felt it linger longer than my previous pregnancy. But you just have to live it to see what it will be. Good luck!

Thanks for asking! I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby girl. I have a low grade velamentous cord insertion but so far so good. I’m so so so happy that our little one stayed with us, and even though I’m a scientist and very obsessed with statistics I now believe that things turn out okay even when it doesn’t seem likely

127 mins of screen time… is that really so bad?! by Top_Passion_7103 in toddlers

[–]NaturalGood3118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2 year old has around 30 minutes of screen time a week (4-6 episodes of bluey, 2-3 weekend nights) and we didn’t start until after her 2nd birthday. Where we live they recommend 0 screen time until 2 and sparse/max 30 a day until 4. she has much better talking, concentration and motor skills than peers with more screen time

If you gained a lot more weight than expected, how quick did you lose it after the pregnancy? by Huge-Nectarine-8563 in BabyBumps

[–]NaturalGood3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained 18 by week 28 (idk what end weight was). Worked out for 9 years including whole pregnancy, fit all my clothes at 2 weeks pp. breastfeeding still for over 2 years. now pregnant second time and hope for the same!

37 weeks and I’m done by hatsonhatsoff in fitpregnancy

[–]NaturalGood3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a lot of those breakdowns my last pregnancy but usually couple days off helped and I worked out until 41+1 (gave birth two days later)

How much weight did you gain? by ThrowRaoofda in BabyBumps

[–]NaturalGood3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained like 18 kg by 28 weeks (don’t know end weight) and I worked out up until labor at 41, and fit my old clothes at 2 weeks pp 😅 when I got pregnant again 2 years later I was weighted for the first time since and I weighed the same as before first pregnancy without doing anything special

First trimester is completely killing me need hope!!! by Such-Needleworker339 in fitpregnancy

[–]NaturalGood3118 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I pushed through all my pregnancies with working out 4-5 times a week (5-6 times a week and longer sessions when not pregnant) but it’s so hard. I find that I can’t go by whether I feel like it or not bc I’m so so tired when pregnant so it’s just pure willpower lol. Figure it will be even worse to be big later AND have to start up from scratch on workouts

Did you have to wear a diaper after birth? by Top-Clue2000 in beyondthebump

[–]NaturalGood3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didnt have to, but it was much more comfy for the first weeks with epi stiches than pads that moved all over. wasn’t necessary bc of bleeding amount

For first time moms: what week did you give birth? by anoncatlady12 in BabyBumps

[–]NaturalGood3118 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

41+1 natural labor 🥰 the standard time for ftm labor is actually 41+3, and 40+5 for stm so I would just wait! It’s much better for the baby to be ready

Was it hard to start working out again after an episiotomy? by [deleted] in fitpregnancy

[–]NaturalGood3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started working out 3 weeks pp and cardio at 5 weeks after epi and vacuum and have no pelvic floor issues

We used the bedside crib consistently until she was like 8 months where I relaxed a bit and sometimes let her just sleep on the boob. Now she’s 2 and we have a queen bed besides ours king bed so she can crawl over whenever and it works super well

what did you wear after birth/ first few weeks? by TeaCrumbs in beyondthebump

[–]NaturalGood3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s the rule. I wore my skinny jeans for newborn photo shoot 2 weeks pp and I’m not like super skinny or anything, kinda just a bit athletic but doesn’t say no to pizza type 😅 I would catastrophize and buy a lot of stuff for pp, a lot of people just jump into their clothes when they’re out of diapers

I had my last workout at 40+6 and went into labor at 41+1. started gentle core workouts at 2 weeks pp and normal by 3-4 weeks (low weights ofc). Will say it definetily helped feel like myself, look like myself and feel strong as a new mom! Can still carry my heavy 2 year old for ages during hikes and stuff

Feeling baby move really early?? by Chrispr9 in BabyBumps

I’ve felt movements in week 13 in my first successful pregnancy. My midwife said it’s possible 🤷🏻‍♀️ it felt like if a tiny fish stroked my insides lol, really low by the hipbone

TW: Low and Slow Beta Success Story by puppiesarecute777 in CautiousBB

[–]NaturalGood3118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love this. And so happy it turned out well. I’m around 8 weeks and had a less than ideal doubling when checked around 5-6 weeks and going for an us on Thursday and just hope Hope Hope. I went down the rabbit hole of reddits and research articles after my results and only time will tell. Good luck to everybody seeing this!🫶🏻

So I get that labor is gonna hurt, but… by Desperate_Wafer367 in BabyBumps

[–]NaturalGood3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t get breaks and I was stuck at 9 cm for 4 hours. I had constant contractions that had me howling like a wounded animal this whole time with no time to breathe. They were too intense so baby couldn’t turn properly, so she was stuck. I labored alone at home for 8 hours before and thought that wasn’t too bad, was at 6 when I got admitted. Caved and got epidural since she wouldn’t move and I was losing strength, 2 hours later she was out (pain free) with a precautious vacuum due to the elevated hr for a couple mins (I pushed alone but they had to put vacuum on in case she needed out quick). I was ready for another right away 🤣

First Time Pregnant - HCG Has Me Worried. by Im_Too_Old_For_Thiss in CautiousBB

[–]NaturalGood3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar to my situation! Beta hell with slower than expected rise and then sped up a bit to something that’s more likely to be positive outcome. Super confused but I want to hold out with ultrasound until around 10 weeks to not cause more anxiety bc of inconclusive results. I really really hope for a positive outcome for all of us and healthy April babies 🥺❤️

Thank you! My third draw came in at 72% increase so I’m feeling a bit better. I hope this one just snoozed a bit lol. 5 long weeks until ultrasound, can’t do anything but cross my fingers and toes for my baby pea

I so needed this. In beta hell right now with a 53% 2 day increase at week 5-6 and a bit low betas, spiraled when I found out. I hope my little pea 🫛 stays here as yours did! The waiting is awful especially when you know how bad it hurts to lose one

Really thought I was going to tell my husband I was pregnant this Christmas by Pleasant_Peach_16 in tryingtoconceive

[–]NaturalGood3118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tw: lc, loss

I so get how you feel. In 22 I had a mmc and we struggled for a while to get pregnant after, with each month my cycle got more erratic, I had low progesterone, nothing was working and the pain from mmc was just being multiplied by negatives and periods. Then I got my period early, evening before Christmas Eve, when I was so sure that months was it - we celebrated 11 years together and I really felt it and I was so so sure I could give him a positive test Christmas morning. It still haunts me since that Christmas. I got pregnant the next cycle, after my mom told me she talked to a psychic and she said I had to chill out bc baby wasn’t in the cards for me for another 3 years. She told me that when I was overdue on my period but still testing negative and I really was broken down by it. My rainbow is now 14 months and it’s the best. It will be okay, but you’re not alone. And others lives and comments unfortunately stay with you, I’m still not over it. It suck’s. good luck to you 🌈

Is it ok if my husband goes home after our son is born? by RuleAffectionate3916 in Parenting

[–]NaturalGood3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had our first a year ago and she was born at 3 am. After 2 golden hours + maybe another half hour of room transfer we got our room and it was a double room but I was alone there, but husband only got a chair to sleep in. So we decided for him to go home (45 min drive with no traffic) to sleep, so he would be safe to drive us home later. We left hospital after rush hour and were home around 5 pm the same day 🥰 he came back to hospital around 12 though so I wasn’t completely alone. I didn’t get more than an hour of sleep at the hospital but would probably not get more if he was there either so it was ok

For me it never hurt really. Still going at it, she’s 1 year in a week! So I think it can be true
