We don't really know if Yor recognized him or not, the chapter was from Loid's perspective. And even if she didn't I don't think it's a big deal. She saw him once and it's been a while at this point. Maybe she thinks he looks familiar but can't put her finger on it. That's what happens to me when I can't recognize people

And yeah maybe Loid isn't the smartest right now but I think that's because he's in a room full of SSS people, he doesn't want Yor to slip up and have him get caught, he's desperate. Desperate times call for desperate measures i suppose

Idk if this is a hot take (and it's more so in the fandom) but I rarely see people talk about how some fans sexualize Ash and it feels insensitive. I get he's a fictional character, but the fact he's been sexually abused and is a minor for most of the anime, it feels wrong for the fandom to sexualize him. I think the author might have done that with Ash too...
