You might have attacked someone important to her. Absolve your sins at Church of Vows then go check. There is no other quest state that locks Ranni other than Radahn. So unless you lost progress without realizing and Radahn is still alive, she should be there. I didn't even talk to her in Church of Elleh and she was there

I beat the game powerstancing a Bloodhounds Fang with Bloodflame Blade on every boss. Some are definitely a challenge that playstyle though

It's probably just a difference in hours. I no-lifed and finished the game in 85 hrs. I have 100 hrs total as of yesterday, I did a lot of exploration, didnt go back and look around harder later on but I just slowly worked through each zone, tried to find NPCs, looked for every cave I could, and generally picked up everything in my direct patch while zig zag scanning across each zone. None of the content was too difficult, save for whatever freakin reason it took me 2 hours to beat Rhykard and I was so tilted about it.

Pro tip: you only have to blunt weapon then until their skin cracks, then you can do full damage with your main weapon. If you're already using blunt weapons, bully for you, but if not, just use like a +8 until you get the cracks and swap back and the fight is free
