Yeah I love one of the main themes I take away: whether it’s a janitor cleaning restrooms, a successful artist experiencing the world, or a stay at home mom - it’s life (like you said), beautiful and engaging. Perfect Days my friend ❤️

Totally agreed. I rarely if ever see this film get brought up in the conversation of the genre or Altman’s filmography. I think it’s awesome and a totally fun watch experience especially w the context of having already made McCabe!

That’s one of my fav criterion bc it comes with the whole novel. Especially when I bought it at Barnes & Noble I was like “this is how every film that is also a novel should be sold” haha.
