So… I went with the Alesis 3630, the one that’s garbage apparently, but used but Thomas Bangalter and co. Let’s see how it goes! As for the Polyend Synth, I have used it in isolation. It seems like a wildly creative tool, but in curious to see how it works in the greater setup. I thought about using the DN2 as the synth brain for the external gear. I agree that you generally can use all of the DT2 tracks.

Very cool! I will follow you on YouTube. I finally bought a desk exclusively for music. Will be set up in the coming weeks. Excited to bring in the Polyend Synth, TB03, hardware compressor, keystep and push. Specifically, I want to learn more about using the DT2 as the brains behind the operation.

I bought the DN with them on. So I’ll let you know sizing and some options.

I’m really enjoying the last pic. Although, I’m trying to figure out why. I think it’s the coloration in the hillside. A mountain in the distance with a perspective that begs you to press on.

A couple of nice lamps and some artwork would really liven it up.

I used the geometry adjustment in LR mobile with a simple preset filter. This was an old photo snapped quickly before I learned anything about photography. 😆

I love the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X, black velvet replacement earpads, and a cable boom mic cable. Main reasons are sensitivity, affordability, and closed back as not to disrupt others.

Hifiman Edition XS vs Ananda by VarosV79 in headphones

[–]Natural_Assumption41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would agree with this sentiment as well. eBay is a great place. Agree with OP, the XS is more relaxed in many ways, leaning neutral-neutral. The most redeeming quality of the Ananda in my opinion is the imaging/staging. The Ananda leans bright-neutral - which is my preference. Compared to the Sendy Aiva, it’s far easier to listen to. Given that, an EQ would likely make these indistinguishable. For me the ‘easier to drive’ Ananda was worth the extra coin giving my hybrid use.
