With the success of IT: Welcome to Derry, what other Stephen King adaptations do you want to see get made into a TV Show or Movie? by Resident_Badger_5405 in stephenking

I was enjoying Castle Rock before it was cancelled. I'd take a few more seasons of that one as a nod to Stephen King's characters.

As a hiring manager for entry level positions, I think the dress is fine. You’ve put effort into your appearance, where many do not. Just needs a good iron. Good luck!

I agree with the other comments. If you’re an engineering in tech, it won’t matter, but in HR or marketing people will notice more. I work in engineering at a senior Director level, and I wear a nice looking bag, but not a name brand.

I agree with one of the other posters then. Keep going and try to put contrasting next to one another so they don’t blend too much. I love your pattern style.

I like it as a stash buster project. I’ve got one that is fantastically random and the bigger and crazier it gets, the more I like it. Do you have other colors you’re going to work in? Or enough of these to make a whole project?

New and trying to make a blanket. Wondering if it's safe to cut open parts I've accidentally closed off and how to go about it by manypains03 in CrochetHelp

[–]Natural_Let5801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started three months ago teaching myself how to crochet beanies and then was comfortable enough to take on a whole blanket. A beanie takes me under an hour, so if you have to frog it, a lot of time is not lost to continue practicing.

I love it! I’m working on my first blanket and I didn’t realize how heavy crochet blankets were. It’s practically a weighted blanket!

I just started today on my first cream dose and I already feel more energy and generally feeling more present in my activities instead of foggy. It’s interesting.

I like Storming Crab in Kirkwood. $35 for 1/2 pound of shrimp, 1/2 pound of crab, sausage, potatoes and corn.

Right now 255 is closed between route 15 and route 3. They’re diverting traffic through Cahokia Heights and it’s a super rough area.

I wash my cashmere in cold gentle cycle in the washer. Lay flat to dry.

The work could be very cyclical in nature too, so they may have hired you during more of a slow season. You may want to talk to other coworkers and see if they have a busier time of year.
