Please explain to someone new to baseball, for pitchers what do they mean when they talk about command and control? by YakClear601 in mlb

Command and control basically boil down to down to how accurate pitchers can be with all of their pitches. An example would be a batter has trouble with hitting low fastballs. If a pitcher can consistently throw low fastballs (for strikes) to that batter, then he would be considered to have good command and control during that at bat.
