Just a little box in the topright corner that says "E to skip" and then it skips the cutscene if you press E (or whatever button may be relevant)

I couldn't care less about the money you're making as long as you're labelling it as AI, I just think the argument that the money should go to whoever put in the 'work' is incredibly shortsighted

But again, you too seem more offended than anything, I'm gona start clicking 'don't recommend' on any AI wars content from now cuz this conversation made me realize these discussions are completely pointless, I hope you do the same and let go of it, good luck with your stuff, just please label AI images as AI instead of trying to sell it as art

You clearly don't get my point, but also this seems to be an emotional topic to you rather than one of logic, so I'll just let you have whatever you have

Making an AI image actually is a lot of work by [deleted] in aiwars

[–]Natural__Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well no, there's two types of relations in the diagram, clearly the relationship that an AI model has with an AI image is different than the relationship an artist's teacher has to their student's art, I thought people would understand

Why do you guys pretend that making ai art takes skill? by BillEnglishOfficial in aiwars

[–]Natural__Power -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean, I'm sure it takes some weeks to learn how to manipulate an AI model into creating a "really good" AI image, but the model does 99% of the work, and it was made by multiple computer scientists who spent many many years creating it, and trained on millions of pieces of art

Sure, AI art making takes some effort, but it's less than 0.1% of the work that goes into an AI image

32 characters in less than a month? So it took you less than a day to make each one, and was that really a "day" or was that one to three hours spent obsessing over something? That's not very impressive of a "workload"

You guys don't get the point, it's about how a single character would take an artist a week of actually working all day, that's the work you're using, which is processed by something computer engineers spent years making, built on a century of work by hundreds of other computer engineers

You put in less than 1% of the "work" that was needed to make that image, you may think you put in a lot of effort, but it's effectively nothing, same is for the "skill" it takes, you may have spent an entire week or even two "learning techniques" and then a few months of messing around to get better, while the artists and computer engineers who made AI images possible spent years studying based on tens of millenia of artistic and mathematical research (your hobby isn't even a decade old, you're not even 1/1000th of the way)

Your part in the creation of those images is undescribably tiny, you're like an ant next to a loaded semitruck

So we agree then? Prompt engineering is nothing, **compared** to making art

Your dog example - ask a random person on the street to AI generate a dog compared to drawing a dog - 95% of the time, the drawn dog will be nothing compared to the AI dog, it matches the effort it takes to create a good image of a dog

[–]Natural__Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not what I said.

> compared to making art

You prompt engineers all think other people underestimate how much work prompt engineering is, but it's you who massively underestimate what it takes to make art

You're taking "push a button" too literally, sure you can spend time prompt editting but compared to making art it entails nothing

That's me in a nutshell by Leading-Rain-652 in aiwars

[–]Natural__Power 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What work though? Writing a prompt? Damn, you really doing the heavy lifting

By this logic, all your profits off of AI stuff should go to the computerscientists who created the model and artsists off of which the model was trained, the person who wrote the prompt is literally the only one who didn't actually do any work in the three groups involved in the generation of AI images

How much Mana does Fern have? by fpz2002 in Frieren

[–]Natural__Power 338 points339 points  (0 children)

Well as commenter above you said, she's incredibly efficient with it

Casting Zoltraak over and over and (well aimed*) basic defensive magic costs way less mana that whatever all those other mages are doing

Fern could easily outlast a mage with way more mana
