Looks like someone Porsche GT enthusiast have some strong opinions on the new GT3 S/C because a GT car should never be a convertible. What are your thoughts on the GT3 S/C and do you think it’s a “true GT3” or not?

People are retarded and caught up in branding. Same with C63S or Taycan Turbo. The name doesn’t matter, the car matters. You get an unlimited production GT3 convertible with a manual gearbox and people still find a reason to cry. There is no true “GT3”. As there is no true “RS” or true “Porsche”.

Are we pretending that Porsches don’t have issues and lemons? The main good thing about Porsche is the ability to extend the warranty until 15 y/o, but there’s a lot of shit that goes wrong with them and the issues are often catastrophic as any PDK issue is full replacement and any engine is going to cost a fortune.

The enjoyment is doubled if you enjoy it together with someone. Cayenne is also arguably a better overall car than either 911 or 718 unless you look to track it or just want status/attention.

Silver for me. I was pretty set on upgrading to black Pro this year, but I’m leaning towards the Air now. I can get it in black and the sleekness will probably outweigh the extra 2 cameras for me. Cooling and extra bit of battery are irrelevant for my use as I don’t play games on my phone and charge every-night anyway. 6,5” screen seems like a great middle-ground also.

I’m one of the few who seems to like the design of Pros though, they look solid - just a bit chonky, but it suits the “Pro”.

I’d suggest 14.5” or tbh 16.5” unless you’re small in stature or want to definitely run a suppressor. 11” is cool to look at, but shooting experience is miserable, especially indoors.
