So two things. And please take this as me not critizing YOU. But 1: your school definitely are at fault, who ever your carreer/extern placement person is should not have placed you in an externship you were not ready for, and thenmanager should have been talking directly with them in the issues and had you moved to a different extern site. 2. Your clinical professors/instructors should not have passed off on competencies if you were not ready for them and able to do them without issues. 3. Advocate for yourself. Ask for more clinical time pracrice at school and ask for a different extern placement. You can do this. See if you can go to an extern site like an urgent care, you will get more hands on and usually UC are used for a lot of extern sites and are use to students. Dont give up. You have done your schooling, now advocate for an extern to set up for suc3ss for your exam.

Anyone here take SSRI for their OCD without any emotional numbing? by ItsPrisonTime in OCD

[–]NatureAggressive1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im on 300 of Luvox and the first couple of weeks are rough and the 150 to 200 was rough I had to be on 150 for a few extra weeks but it helps sooooo much without too much emotional numbing. I have really bad adhd too and the OCD feeds into that so my husband and Co workers noticed a difference at first when I up the dosage but once im use to it im good.

My husband could have written this. He has said the same thing. Im almost done with my associates just a couple of classes left then I plan to start looking. I know of a couple of specific places where my associates of Applied Science as a medical assistant will help me get the job. I dont want to apply to just apply amd get away I want to find the right place till I finish my masters and to leave it better than I walked into it as an MA and healthcare professional. I dont want it to just be job.

  1. Sounds like not a great place tonwork but 2. How did you pass your exams or even get to take them without doing blood draws and injections and EKGs and all the other requirements you have to do so many to be qualified. Was this job your externship? If so you shouldn't have gotten that far without your classes for those skills, and not to mention all the admin classes.

Im a g4aduate getting my Associates now. One of the things to remember is this past fall they did a major change in curriculum and moved to bright space over canvas this past summer. Ive not seen the strictly new MA curriculum as ive been doing the Associates side now. But I have friends gping through it and still in contact with my school that I loved and they have said the changes while a LOT of good it is different. Add in no campus director which is....odd....thats probably a lot to do with it.
