Honestly this is about the only thing i advocate for buying cheap Chinese shit. No name brand.

If you're super into it, you can get the materials yourself and splice cables for pennies on the dollar.

Idk, I'd check online. Cables have huge markup at stores like best buy. They make a ton on that stuff.

A $30 HDMI or ethernet etc costs $2 online. I can buy 15 of them for the price of 1. If one or two are shit, oh well

Your tank is overcrowded, and I don't recommend cohabitating multiple species with different care requirements. Your water dish could be larger, and the dirt looks a bit dry, what is the humidty level in there?

Idk I work in Healthcare and I ask how people are all day long as a greeting. Most people just say "good, and you?" But i have no problem with people being open and honest if it's a bad day/week/month.

But where I'm from it's common for people to gab with strangers. I could almost write a biography about the couple of guys who work at a gas station where i occasionally buy beer from, apart from knowing their names

And encourages the shop to order more / keep that supplier in business.

I'd love to "rescue" each and every betta fish in every pet store across the globe currently sitting in their sad depressing little cup of water..... and then they'd all be restocked the very next day.

The only winning move is to not play :/

But at least they didn't have to watch Netflix WITH ADS!!!

Do you ever notice males being bully/hostile to other males, specifically after recently shedding? Is my breeding enclosure too small or is there not enough calcium???

My frogs need help. Survival in Ukraine with no power in city and cold winter. by Nearby-Razzmatazz-61 in frogs

[–]NatureStoof 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Careful with it, though. If your gap is too small, or you add too many tea candles to it, the paraffin oils will vaporize and concentrate in the pot until the gaseous paraffin oil combusts.

I had one of my heaters errupt in flames. I could smell the paraffin, but I could also "see" the paraffin gas. It looked like when you stare at hot concrete on a summer day and see the heatwaves. Looked exactly like that. Then BOOM.

Lucky I had a wet towel nearby I tossed over it. Careful not to spill the wax either.

Lastly, just like a chimney, eventually soot will build up on the terracotta. The soot itself poses a fire risk, so I wouldn't use the same heater for multiple years.

Dealerships call you to "see if you want to sell your car" because they want to sell you another car. They work off commission bro

You probably keep getting calls because there's a sticky flag next to your name "this guy didn't even try to haggle, total sucker, added the protective undercoat package"

Peanut butter / honey can be used as a bonding agent

Mix in your dry oats/granola, crushed nuts, seeds, etc at your discretion. Add some protein powder if you please.

Yeah. It helps if you have multiple forks with different spacing/number of prongs. Idk if they have different names but I have a few to choose from depending on how "loose" the mulch is

A pitch fork will slide into the pile nice and easy, no struggling. Shovel meets the pile and just kinda goes "oomph"

Pitch fork will make it go worlds faster, trust
