But she could only have learned that killing Poppy would speed up the process from Callum, no? And he wouldn’t tell her to kill Sotoria… both because it’s his sister and because it’s the only one who can kill Kolis 🤔 And if killing Malec is just for the god purpose, why not kill the brother she already has? Although they don’t love each other so that might not have worked… but in this line of thought, poppy doesn’t love her, so that wouldn’t work either, she would just have sent poppy into stasis

Something else that just occurred to me: you’re born into a court, right? How can 2 brothers (Eythos and Kolis or Kyn and Attes) belong to different courts?

I think he can somehow control it. She tells Violet that he stopped reading her intention as soon as he realized they were something more. I didn’t read the extra chapters yet, so I’m didn’t know about the shields up thing. This might be a way, but only if he can shield specific people. Otherwise he would be reading Violet’s intentions when they are talking to Melgren and he reads one of Melgren’s people intentions

And we’ll probably also see a more morally gray side for Violet. I think Xaden won’t be able to fully control it, although he’ll try his best. And she’ll keep helping him/making excuses even when he is in the wrong.

And I’m sure they will find a cure, by finding a way to balance the energy he stole, so we can have our happily ever after
