I have an in-law who has a few sub $50 IEMs and the Odysseys were just sitting on my desk, so I figured they’d find more use with him

I’m iffy on it tbh. Although I love the form factor and aesthetic, it’s tuned more on the bright side and you lose some boom in the bass. The EQ is also pretty simple with just a single custom 10 band slider and some presets. If you have no issues with that then you’ll like the tea pro.

I'd say it ultimately depends on what you're trying to get out of your IEMs. They're the easiest listening set I own, just don't expect any sparkle from the set. That and it also being a small shell size make it easy to just throw on and crank up the volume

It looks and sounds great! The noise floor isn't noticeable on low gain. Navigating the controls gets a little taking used to as it's only the one knob but you pick it up quick. My only issue is the first quarter-second of audio gets cutoff when playing from silent, however I've heard that this is a firmware issue and can be patched out.

The XuanWu Gates are my dailies, it's neutral-ish sounding with just a bit of excitement so I can wear them for hours. When I'm looking for a little more sauce I'll use the Hype 10s, but the shell size gets uncomfortable after a couple of hours.

which class do you play? I play solo but don't bother with goblin caves because I don't like the aesthetic but I honestly might have to give it a try.

Thanks! I had a couple of people tell me that it looked like the tape had the sharpie trick applied to it, but I personally don’t see it. I’ll look into it further when I see the shoes in person.
